it has been a week after i bought this phone, i have been updating the firmware, and the launcher. there are no big deal with the launcher, only the locker theme which it can't keep my downloaded theme on the setting. but everything is okay, the battery also good..can hold on for a half day on active use, gaming and browsing. Getting hot while using it, the temperature is still normal for me. It's a great phone, for me..

I've updating my lenovo launcher, but i updating it on beta version because i can't find the official one. There are good, only one problem comes up, the several setting like Lock Screen can't be set. I can use it but i can't do any setting on it.

You can check on your setting then open "About Phone" you should see system update, you can checking there what's your version and you can updating your firmware from there. I don't know if there are any differences between your version and me, i mean indonesian and other country. Just try to help.. :-)

myra devina, 15 Feb 2014how to turn my edge signal to 3g signal..im an indonesian..... moreHy myra, try to put your sim card on slot that write on WCDMA if you dont get any change, it might be your phone couldn't get 3G like mine. Anyway i think HSDPA is good enough for me,i am from indonesia too, but i can't use our language here because the rules in here.

Cell get overheated & battery life poor. I recommend not to purchase it.

hi i just got this phone and evrythng was working alright but my network is very weak. is ths a common problem to a706. or should i return the phone whle i stil have a chance? thnk you so much! hope i hav a quick response :D

I bought this phone about a week ago,I only have one problem, it's on the touchscreen. On the bottom around the menu, sometimes it won't work specialy on the back button, but i think it doesn't matter. Overall this phone is great, the price and the spec are great. I like this phone.
