Wifi hotspot -- is the Lenovo A820t come with wifi hotspot function? Some of you might not use this function; is a function that transmit internet data by wifi signal, GSMARENA spec review this phone with wifi hotspot BUT my Lenovo A820t don't have it, is there any mistake in the review?

i rooted my lenavo a820 by using this app one click root
To root follow this

then installed mobile uncle tool(search google for apk)
then download CMW recovery and put it sd card..
this is the link cmw recovery.....

then open mobile uncle tool..select update recovery...search for Recovery..then click on image file to reboot the device.. Finish
if you want You can install rom from www.needrom.com
or can install gapps (if you like stock rom)

Hi, I would like to buy this Lenovo, but I'm curious about this MTK processor. I've heard that there is a problem with GPS signal. Is that true?

Be aware that there is an A820E out there that supports CDMA 2000. In my country it runs at about 200 USD, give or take a few dollars. At the price, I think it's a great unit. Of course, I'd much rather prefer something like HTC One Dual SIM, but it offers no CDMA 2000 support, afaik, let alone the price tag.

I have been using it since April, 2013.
Great phone it is! Good battery capability (1 day with hard use; my previous ZTE V970's battery time was about 16hours).
Also, the internal SD can be merged with /data partition easly, there are many mod roms (including mine ;) ).
This phone is really value for your money.
The sound is really good. Loud enough, clear.
One cons: this is really big. Bigger than I expected, but I could used to it.

I have bought this telephone few days ago. I have noticed that Google play is operetional only for a while a. After few time there is an error and the only solution is to re-enter my google account. Any permanent Solution?

Dear all, I just bought a Lenovo A820t model from China, anyone know what is the "t" stand from? my phone only got 2Gb internal memory BUT the spec written 4Gb for A820, is it due to the "t" model? My phone also can not operate with Google Play & will only display Chinese language initially whenever I use internet; can I format this phone? Please help. Thank.

Same result for this one it is a good mobile phone but with same problem like the A706 auto rotate "Land scape" not functioning well and on texting you cant even Do texting on LAND SCAPE AND ALSO Watching video you can do it but in one side only but not on all side.. but then again it is a good phone.. some said it is the OS "Jelly Bean" not functioning well on this mobile phone.. I hope they will fix this or give some updates to function well,,
