This phone has digital compass or not? I like to install Google SkyMaps and Star Chart which is using compass (instead of GPS) for realtime star maps searching.

I got myself a Lenovo A850 smart phone. Things are smooth but there is a problem. The phone is running on andriod 4.2.2 but it does not come with google play but preloaded with the lenovo app store (which is all in chinese btw). To make it more frustrating, I am not able to sign in to ALL google apps such as Gmail, Youtube, Google Drive etc..
Is there a way i can go about being able to download, sync and sign into the google apps on my Lenovo A850? The phone is pretty useless now because I cant sync my contacts, calendar and even mail from google.

There are ROMS out that fix it, but most are not in English. it will take a while before that issue can be fixed cos i see many people have that.

When you bought it, you should have asked them to root, recovery and install google play store for you. I will look around and see if i can find how to fix it for you. The last one i saw on a forum had russian and english apps.

The post office in your country do not lie. This scammers on aliexpress etc give you fake tracking of someone else in your country and you think it is yours.
What they do is this, - when you order a large quantity they send it to your sometimes because they know they can't get away with stealing large sum of money. Small orders on the other hand, they steal your money and run. Infact scammers open new page on aliexpress all the time, take your money and run or sell fake products.
ask the seller to send your proof or receipt that they sent it, you will be surprised he will ignore you. I suggest you OPEN DISPUTE TODAY BEFORE ITS TOO LATER AND YOUR MONEY GOES.

They use alibaba to purchase so its ok because seller not receiveing money until your receive confirmation. I have corect tracking number and seller is chating with me but sweeden post is problem...they said that my phone is in my country but my post office didnt receive :-( I was write to sweeden post but they didnt answer...

I have chinese version a850 white color. It is made of very durable plastic. The only problem is it is full of chinese applications. I want to change the rom to international rom with playstore. Can anyone here tell me how to do it? Is there any problem if I changed it?

I purchased two A850 and never got it, the seller gave me a fake tracking & Ignored my message, but in all, I finally got my refund after two weeks.
however, recently I purchased the same phone through alibaba, its similar to aliexpress but with less fraudsters. It is protected by escrow and they charge you 5% of your total to ensure you get your shipment if not it gets cancelled automatically. The negative is that if its cancelled they keep the 5% fee but at least you get your money back. I bought it from Shenzhen Global Technology Co., Ltd. Make sure you chat with "Shopy Li" she works for the company. I got mine through her, she is very legit. Finally, make sure you ship through DHL or UPS its safer and you get a real tracking number that works immediately not 2-3 days after. DO NOT USE THEIR FREE SHIPPING, THEY CAN EASILY SCAM YOU WITH IT, COS IT TAKES 40 DAYS AND ALIEXPRESS GIVES YOU ONE 25 DAYS AS THE SHIPMENT PERIOD, BY THE TIME YOU WANT TO OPEN DISPUTE IT'S TOO LATE.
CAREFUL WITH ALIEXPRESS THEY ARE ALL SCAMMERS.
