hello. i bouth the lenovo 859 and i like it . but i tried all the ways to get whatsapp menu. there is no button on the screen nor sliding up down left or right work. also the app button brings the running apps not the whatsapp options. i am frustrated . any help?

s859 lenvo is good cell phone i dont have any problem ..only i want is to upgrade to kitkat thats all ...

Hey guys,
I've just received my Lenovo A859 ystdy, and I am very happy with the performance. The battery level drops moderately, not as lighting quick as some guys posted here. The screen response is good, but the best feature that i like is the apparent lack in the lag. switching from one app to another is a breeze, and its so damn responsive. After installing DU speed Booster, I can have total contral of RAMs, and speed and that enhances the phone's performances a lot. Overall, it's a phone that gives me EXACTLY what i want, and runs according to how i want it to. And to top it, it's got such a crisp resolution of 290ppi, that i cant get my eyes off the screen

I'm always have a problem with the battery. Sometimes it won't charge, and sometimes it dropped... Then I bring my phone to service center.. after had a service, the problem still doesn't clear.. please help me to fix this :(

I've not faced any issue with calls. But I do admit the scrolling lag in contacts. Check the prioritizing thing again. Disable all the unwanted Lenovo specific apps. On a fresh boot I get around 500plus free RAM space. Think so.

Please help how to fix my audio speaker of my LENOVO A859 without doing the factory setting method, im afraid to lose some of my setting specially my LINE msgs..
Totally no sound at all except if I used my earphone I can able to hear it.
Kindly somebody help me on this matter of mine

Call quality is fine, you m... moreNo its not fine, even when volume set to maximum people complain that they can't hear me loudly and i don't hear them loudly not to mention skype video calls and mango video calls its hard to hear your friends because the sound low this phone have a really really really really bad speakers/audio!!
as for notifications i already done that i don't not receive notifications, what i always do in order to receive notifications i open apps leave them running then head to home screen.
third issue: this phone have 1G RAM why the hell does it need to use 7xxmb even if you're not using the phone! you have to restart it to get 400mb out of ram, the way android control hardware resources extremely bad
forth issue: scrolling in your contact list isn't smooth my lumia 520 with 512mb running smoother than this phone with 1g ram !!
i was hopping if my experience with A859 good enough i'd buy lenovo vibe x2 when its available in the market but i had nothing but bad experience with lenovo phones, the reason i bought lenovo phone because i know lenovo great brand on PC/tablets but i had nothing but bad experience .

Call quality is fine, you may please update the system.
You don't have to open an app and wait for all the time to get notifications. Just prioritize your most important apps and get notifications easily as those apps are opened from the time you switch on your mobile.
It's under Lenovo app.

hi there for me this unit was not good. cause. the midle screen of my unit was not functional, when i try to use screen tester it form a rectangular bar, which means not functioning on that area.
