Abhi, 03 Jul 2014does whatsapp work fine with this phoneOK guys I'm a gadget maniac and this Lenovo A859 is an awesome smartphone. All free messengers like Whatsapp, Viber, Line, Kakao, Wechat and kick are supported except BBM. BBM has some issues while installing.

very difficult to get cover of lenova a859 i purchased this mobile at 24 4 2014 from indore apex jail road even after 2and half month i did not get scilicon cover please help me

i have problem with wifi connection, my A859 can't connect to wifi, it said avoided poor connection while my other phone can connect to that wifi, can anyone help me to solve the problem?

Anonymous, 30 Jun 2014hi i just bought this phone today. so far, its a good phone... moreI have used this phone before, you have to charge this for at least 3.5h as it reaches to 90+ % the elapsing time will increase but do not worry. after that go to battery saver and activate the battery saver.

Now Lenovo is busy with their kitkat updates for vibe series and I hope that the other models will also get a touch on the kitkat.

Yes you can attach documents easily and to be honest the battery is really great under general usage. I mean if you are a gamer or hard-core browser then it would last for 8hours. But if you do not do these often and use it for calling then it is deal. More than a day standby even with 2g on.
Lenovo has mentioned ed kitkat update in the mwc earlier this year but it is not out yet.

The specs 1.3 GHz processor, 8MP & 1.6MP, display length 5 inch, 1GB RAM, Battery capacity 2250mA, Graphic 720p, 8GB internal memory extendable till 32 GB, satisfactory slimness: at a price of USD 220 is value for money and cheaper than mobile of its counterpart such as Samsung Galaxy, Sony Xperia, etc.
To have the battery last longer, one need to calibrate following the instruction given in the "Power Management" apps. The screen touch is great, no lagging. It has a music player apps which is not so userfriendly, but not need to worry, one can get great choice of player apps and several other apps to make your mobile more exciting from Google Pay.
The few troubles that I faced was that I had could not get mobile cover and plastic cover for this phone. It may be coz it is new to the market and such products are yet to come to the market. And the other problem was that, there was no manuals provided for this phone except product information, warranty doc, and a mobile feature information booklet. However, since it operates with Android OS, those of you who are familiar with other Android OS can easily get adapted to this mobile OS very easily.
It is to be noted that it does not support 3G network which operates at 850 MHz. It has got 900/2100 MHz for 3G.
Hope this help some of you who is dilemma not knowing which phone to choose. I would recommend this phone.

I bought this phone from Philippines. Display screen of 5 inch is great. It has got almost all the features which its counterpart Samsung Galaxy has with affordable price of Pesso 10999/- only. I was lucky enough to get it at Pesso 9803/- (while color). Graphic is great. If you know how to manage the applications by closing/cleaning those which you are not using, this can phone has good battery backup. I am still exploring this phone and so far I have found this phone very good. You can make this phone even exciting my downloading apps from google play which has got plenty of it. The video graphic of 720p is satisfactory. 8mp rear camera and 1.6mp front camera works grea

I can't connet BBM on my lenovo a859. it saying "unfortunately, BBM has stop" bla bla. anybody know why? pls advise me.
