For all those wondering/complaining about not being able to make calls, READ the product specifications first. It clearly states that the SIM Card is provided for internet connectivity and you will not be able to make calls.

For all those wondering/complaining about calling, READ the specifications first. It clearly mentions that the SIM Card slot is provided for Internet connectivity only. This is NOT a calling tablet.

This is the best thing tablet I have ever used the battery lasts long it's easy to use the hand swip typing is the best am living this if you want a tablet this is the one you should get

Mac, 02 Aug 2014I just received a brand new lenovo idea tab and any time I ... moreInsert the sim card while the device is Off. For those if you trying to install whatsapp, download the apk from the following link.
http://www.whatsapp.com/android/current/WhatsApp.apk
Make sure to select "Unknown Sources" option under Security settings.Once installed wait for it to get activated. It will fail. THen put the code that you received as sms or get a call.

I just received a brand new lenovo idea tab and any time I insert a sim card it says no sum card..... It can't see my sim card.. can any body please help me out??
