However, in case of lenovo note the battery drains like anything, a failure it is. They need to come up with an upgrade soon for better management of power.

Just remember the hardware its handling. If u r not satisfied then please fo for some mobile for a higher price range which gives u with ur heavy usage 2 days back up. Thanks.

i am very much Ok with it giving me 10-12 hours of backup. But 5-6 hours is just pathetic.
no matter what exceptional hardware or pixel density it is having.

Furthermore all depends upon how much the battery will last based on the hardware that its running. So for the price and hardware I would say battery is quite good enuf.

I am happy with it cos a 2900 mah battery with an octacore demon running with high pixel is 60% above average than any mobile. U can compare it if u have any doubt. Thanks.

Furthermore how much do you know about devices is quite questionable when u try to compare a mobile with lower dimension with K3 note with same price? Do not preach people to buy any set here as no one does such, but when in practicality u cannot prove which one is best, u come back with some weired notes against me :). U r a great entertainer though loved it.

My data connection would always be on and i very ... moreIf data connection is required all time, still you can use RAM cleaner to clean your RAM every time after heavy usage of Apps. It will do the job.
Its really hard to digest that the battery don`t survive even for 10 hrs.I have used Wifi for whole day and it survived more than 15 hrs. I do uninstalled Facebook app and use it via browser.

My data connection would always be on and i very well know that it would eat up my battery. that is what i have bought the phone for. I would definitely not be going with the solution which you have provided, better to have a nokia 1100 instead which you can use for just making and receiving calls. Why i have a problem with this phone is the time for which the battery lasts, yes note has 1100 mAh less power than p780 and a more powerful processor but i would still like it to last 10-12 hours with data connection on and few calls made. but that is not the case. It does not last even one third of what my p780 would do. so ,definitely lenovo has got it wrong this time with note 3.

You mean you want to keep data connection on for whole day as your main purpose is to surf social networking and other websites continuously and do all mobile activities...and still want battery to survive for whole day.
P780 had bigger battery with lower specification is possible but with K3 note you will have to make efforts to improve battery life. Not everyone need data connection for whole day and LENOVO has provided settings to improve battery life.
Facebook app is a huge battery sucker. Better you remove that and use it with the given browser.It will save a huge amount of battery

A question for you, if i check whatspp, facebook and other such applications would i be getting messages when my phone is locked?
i do not think so( a waste if u do not get messages real time, and just for the heck of saving battery one is reverting to this solution) .Let me know if the answer is different.

I think i need not comment more on it.
coming on to the battery part, i have been using lenovo phones for years and have been a fan of p780 for its battery backup , however, note 3 sucks. Have tried different combinations but of no use. Have been using the same settings in other phones and my comparison is based on those, what you call s similar settings on different phones.
I have used 2 different lenovo note phones and have encountered the battery issue on both of them. It might be that both are defective pieces but if that is the case then lenovo is lagging on the quality front.

If u havent followed the post then I am really sorry. Talking about ur Asus Laser, my friend bought it today and when compared it stands way down when compared to K3 note. Be it resolution, games, touch or sound. Battery doesnt seems that good either, with just lower resolution and lower processor. Games even when played lagged tremendously. So it u have suggestions to problems then site in here and if u have ur feelings for Asus then please share ur comments in that forum. Thanks.

But the main Prob is : OverHeating
It heats up so much on the speaker Side.
