Recently I bought Lenovo K3 note mobile. In that call settings, I tried call forwarding option but it is not working it and I got message call setting error. Is that mobile issue or setting issue??
Pls help.

those who r telling, phone is not good they are lieers, because i m using this phone since 3month phone was awesome and the camera is superb never struct never heat.. solid battery back up..

but there is no video calling for this mobile and i am very feeling very very sad any other opportunity for this mobile plz plz i want video calling
other upgrade for video calling

For wifi connectivity issues do the following an ur owes will be over:-
DIAL *#*#3646633#*#*
Now go to connectivity tab and tap on WiFi.
Now mark the option.
1.) WFA test UI
2.) WPS test mode
Now exit from engineering mode and check. Wifi will work smoothly.!

guys...i need help... after getting this phone, at the 1st boot up, when i connected with wifi and setup google accounts and all, i didn't receive any system update. neither 17mb update not 296mb update. when clicking on "system update", it always says after checking the update- "your system is the latest version".But i got to know that i dont have the latest "build number". tried "factory reset" 2 times, but still i am not getting any updates. could you please help me guys!!!!!

hello everyone,
i want to ask all of you that,
Everyone is facing the wifi/tethering problems after this 296MB update.
so anyone tried to format the device completely and i am not talking about the phone's backup and reset option but the (volume_up +power button simultaneously).
the flipkart executive told me to do that but when i did the boot menu started but the problem was all the contents of boot menu was written in chinese so i didn't understand what was written.

Anyone did these steps to troubleshoot the wifi problem ,as by doing this we can revert back the 296MB update and wifi will work.

Heating problem only occurs when making call & receiving calls. No other heating problem besides that.

Received my k3 note 2 days ago I m satisfied with all functions in the phone but after clearing the ram it just shows only 700 to 800 mb ram is free. After opening 2 to 3 apps the free ram remains 400 to 500 mb but it do not hangs. Camera quality is nice. While using net battery drains fast but not very fast.

But my phone is not able to recognise media file from memory card. if i want to listen something i have to play via file manager. players are unable to retrive media file automatically. even i have, vlc, mx, google and latest released lenovo music player. so what u can for this functionality. phone is ok good?

Well it's been about a month now that I had bought Lenovo K3 note from the first flash sale, and I decided to post my opinion about this phone. I wish to start with the Pros:

1. Display- The first thing that surprised me is the fact that we could get a phone with such an amazing display at this cost. The display is truly amazing, it was wonderful watching HD movies on this.

2.Audio: The quality is amazing especially when Dolby Atmos is turned on, it mainly enhances the experiance while watching HD movies and also listening to Musiq.

3.Camera: I would say that at this price, the camera is good, I wouldn't say awesome, but quite good, especially photos taken with 4:3 are really good. Even the video capture is good, it's amazing about how even the faintest background sounds are captured effectively while taking videos.

4.Build quality: At this price I would say it's good and looks decent.

Cons:

1: I even wonder whether there is a quality test done by Lenovo on it's phones before releasing it in the market, here is why I feel this way. The first piece that I got was severely heating up at the top portion near the reciever, the battery was alarmingly draining, asked for a replacement, flipkart sent another one the very next day, everything seemed to be fine but the only issue was that when I inserted the 3.5 mm jack to listen to music, the output from the speakers which should automatically stop, did not. Flipkart this time arranged a tech person to call me, after the troubleshooting steps, he said that it was a hardware problem, Flipkart sent another phone the next day. Seemed OK but was slightly heating up while playing games or while on call for a long time, battery was better this time, the only mistake that I did was to update the 295mb update, problems started, even though I did everything possible to free much of the RAM, battery started to drain fast and heating issues while playing games.

Steps That I took to free the RAM:

Uninstalled and disabled most of the unwanted apps.

Tried closing all open applications by clicking on the left lower button and clicked on the brush symbol, it seemed to free some amount of ram but not that very effectiveInstalled Clean Master, seemed to work ok but it itself was consuming much memory the fact which I noticed only after installing 360 Security, which has an option to completely shut down any background apps and also to stop them from automatically activating. Managed to free max 1189mb. Tried Asphalt 8 on medium settings after this, within a min or two into gaming noticed frame drops and lag issues, the device was heating up at the top, tried dead trigger 2, I should confess this visually attractive game was a real stunner on this phone than any other that I had played before on, at the beginning it was smooth, but started lagging, and heating issues again.

I don't think that this is an hardware issue, I have played a 1080P MKV HD Movie, the device rendered it especially well, I got 26890 on antutu, which is amazing, only a device with high quality hardware can manage this. I think the whole issue is about RAM management, and the 295mb update has made it worse. I own a Lenovo Vibe X2 for the last 18 months, and really shocked about how Lenovo came up with this product. Anyone who has owned Vibe x2 and K3 note can very easily see the massive difference.

Well maybe i'm wrong but I don't see the point of having a 64 Bit 1.7 Gh Octocore and an equally powerful Mali GPU, when the main problem is RAM management. No matter how many apps you uninstall or how many apps you stop, one cannot get the constant consistent free Ram even upto around 800mb.

Mediatek is supposed to be much better than the power hungry snapdragon or qualcomm, but I don't understand why such issues with this phone.

My friends Father works for the consumer court, through him without spending anything, I managed to get a refund. After practically checking all other options, decided to go for Microsoft Lumia 640 XL,ofcourse ready to compromise on high end display, why 1 GB ram, you may ask, well 1GB on windows phone does the same any 3GB would do on Android and I have seen and experianced it, well didn't want to encourage or discourage any one, just sharing my personal experiance about this device which I feel would be a real good one, if lenovo properly tests and gives another update along with an upgrade to Lollypop 5.1, which I definitely think would fix much of the heating and quick battery drain issues. I opted out because I don't have much patience to wait for these guys to give a proper future update, nor am I in the mood to spend most of the time on my phone, just clearing RAM, so decided to bid goodbye to Android and excited to goto windows.

Some people have very tight budget and when they get some opportunity to have maximum out of it then they try to grab it and the same is happing here. I here simply suggesting people to check/use their special expectations from this note in physical before buying. Don't mellow in high antutu benchmark.

If you can't take risk with your money then please check the phone in physical from anyone. Then only you will be able to know the right performance. Full HD doesn't mean Anything unless the devise perform normal tasks.k3 note's camera, gaming and build quality is poor.the only good quality in this is light weight with full HD and nothing else.
