I use it moderately, by switching through games, music, videos, social media, etc. and the phone gives awesome battery backup, with 18% left at the end of the day. It also charges quite fast, with the super charger that comes along with it.

Lenovo k3 will launch on 25 June but u will hv to registration first which begin from 26 June at flipkart and u will finally grab it through a flash sale on 29 June 2pm. Lenovo is nt exposing this bcoz thousand of a6000 plus and a7000 left in their ware house. Thts why they selling both through open sale frm 22 to 24 june. The price Wil be 10999 for regular version and 11999 for ceramic vibration speaker version. And ya u will HV extra back cover in that teana variant. It doesn't HV gorilla glass but this mobile comes with lamination and oleophlc layer upon the screen....

Also it is selling this phone online only.. so advertising cost and profit of retailer and many of supply chain such as shopkeepers is eliminated. These two are main costs other than manufacturing cost. Also considering competion by many chinese playrers they have to reduce theit profit margin...So no doubt it is less costly..

You must be very careful while rooting it, because if you mess up, the phone will not be able to be used EVER again.

It is a great phone, with superb performance. Very fluid interface. I performed a drop test on concrete, and the phone fell face down but nothing happened to the screen (very small and thin crack at the bottom, but I expected the glass to shatter). It is still in working condition, and doesn't heat up as much as other phones I have tried. It is a great phone, and I solemnly recommend it.

sh, 18 Jun 2015what about battery backup of k3 & does it have gorilla ... moreBattery backup is awesome with the 3000 mAh battery. It doesn't have Gorilla Glass though, but it has a laminated display (Google it if you don't know what phone lamination is).
