Lenovo K3 Note launched in India with $157 price tag

The K3 Note phablet, which was released by Lenovo in its home country of China back in March this year, has now been launched in India. The device carries a price tag of INR 9,999 ($157), and will be available in white, black and yellow colour variants.



Spec-wise, the handset is powered by a MediaTek MT6752 SoC with 1.7 GHz octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU, and sports a 5.5-inch 1080p touch-screen. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage, and packs in a 3,000 mAh battery.

In terms of camera, the K3 Note features a 13MP rear unit with dual-LED flash, and a 5 MP front shooter. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop underneath the company's own Vibe UI. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS.

The device will be a Flipkart exclusive in India, and will be sold via flash sales that begin July 8. Registrations for the smartphone start today 2PM (IST).

I own a Lenovo K3 Note. Overall an average phone. Don't fall for its Full-HD screen. You'll regret buying it. The phone has a mere 2900mAh battery which barely lasts 8-10 hours. The underlying OS consumes 1.2GB of RAM, apps consume avergae 250-300MB ...
