Lenovo K3 Note launched in India with $157 price tag

I own a Lenovo K3 Note. Overall an average phone. Don't fall for its Full-HD screen. You'll regret buying it. The phone has a mere 2900mAh battery which barely lasts 8-10 hours. The underlying OS consumes 1.2GB of RAM, apps consume avergae 250-300MB of RAM leaving you with only 400 odd MB. Hence, the phone slows down very frequently and also consumes battery very fast. The phone also tends to heat up very quickly - especially the top portion (above the speaker position). The biggest problem is factory reset. I did one recently and it wiped out all the data from my external SD Card too! Iblost precious photos and documents. One more major flaw - in dual SIM mode, you have to swap data connection between sims via the sim management module, and this happens only when the phone has shut down and restarted the both the sim card connections - very, very tedious and painful activity.
Overall, a poorly, hurriedly and pathetically designed phone. Stay away!

keviv, 26 Jun 2015Confused between the Asus zenfone 2 2 gig n this. any one a... moreIndian versions of Zenfone 2 are facing some very serious issues of call drop, I don't know where are you from but I'll still recommend you to go for Lenovo K3 Note. Asus Zenfone 2 may sound a good phone on paper but in real it is full of bugs. Source: My personal experience.

its funny y india doesnt receive chinese smartphone that quickly . out here in nepal this smartphone has been available since more than a month and u dont have to go online to buy this . available in local market. almost every chinese released smartphone is available in local market. with price tag of around nrs 18000 it was around a month ago now i guess this may be available in Nrs 16000. Irs 1=1.6 nrs . i think online market like flipkart, amazon .... is responsible for this late sale.

Screen quality is superb I too saw the video with bluish screen that probably a faulty unit or viewed from bad angel. check other reputed reviews all of them praise the display quality
Build quality should also be great judging by the reviews
supports 64gb sdcards when formatted with NTFS with special formatting utility- check on google i found it on a tread and it seems to be working on all who tried it
You can Switch 4G/3G from one sim to other
