hi i bayed this phone. My opinion is:
1- camera is very good but the application of camera take low resolution photo. so i use "cameraMX" work very good and resolve the problem
2- no gallery, no music player apps, only that of google apps.
3- luncher is ugly , so i replaced it with sony luncher.
4- sound: level is medium (good), quality is excellent.
5- no error no lags , speed is great (i don't play games)
6- fingerprint is very good
7- marshmallow update available (Egypt) i don't test it.

After looking over an over, here's my humble review: The pros: New Model (Mid 2016), 3GB RAM in some countries, good battery (real life not tested yet), good processor, fingerprint sensor (most 2016 phones have it), looks good, camera should be good but who knows, compass + gyro for pokemon go :P, dolby atmos... whether it heats or not is not tested yet... everyone must know the pros by looking at the specs anyway, so now the cons: So no Corning Gorilla Glass or Dragontrail on this phone?! a LARGE 5.5 phablet with no screen protection? No thanks... It will all be nice and happiness till it falls on its side and cracks... remember, the screen ALWAYS cracks from the sides and corners, rarely from front, so tempered glass will do no good. Almost 99% of the phones released in 2016 got some sort of screen protection... not this one... plus the whole software lock/no custom recovery/no root thing... even a simple task such as removing the bloatware will not be as easy as with root... it doesn't have Android 6... yet, at least in Egypt... whereas the rest of the world is getting ready for Android N... thanks but no thanks, i prefer something where i can flash Cyanogen or Paranoid Android, so if it doesn't get the update, CM or PA will have it. Good luck, and think twice about this phone, or any other. And remember to check the SAR value (radiation value not to exceed 1.60) of any phone, because this one is said to be very high that Lenovo didn't write it in the specs, search for other phones on google and you'll find their value... not this one... anyway, that's my 2 cents. agree with me or not, that's up to you

Hi there, k note 5 doesn't show notifications for face book and what's app, apparently your software needs to be upgraded to Marshmallow

Hi guys, have you experienced any notifications problems with whatsapp and Facebook for our k note 5,actually my phone have this problem
