in terms of SoC ONLY, K5 Note is a more logic phones to buy than K4 Note
(Helio P10 in K5 vs. MT6753 crap in K4). FYI, Helio P10 is another Helio X10 with 'upgraded' GPU, so u know that its performance is top noch for super-mid range phones
in terms of GPU, K5 Note is MUCH MORE POWERFULL than K4 Note (Mali T860 vs. the crappiest Mali T720), which means, the video recording & encoding video on Helio P10 will be much better, besides gaming performance which is more powerfull.
If u advised people not to buy K5 Note and just go with K4 Note, I can only think 2 reasons:
1. You already bought K4 Note and then realized that it was a phone powered by MT6753 crap, unlike its predecessor K3 Note which use the more superior MT6752. U regret for buying it and trying to advise others to buy the same crap so that u can forget ur silliness for buying that phone and make others feel the same way as you, disappointed.
2. You are just a noob who doesn't know much about ANDROID, especially recent Android trends. There are SO MANY PHONES used this MT6753 crap because it is MUCH more cheaper than its sibling MT6752 which is more better in every aspect AT THAT TIME. Lenovo and some others chinese-based phone manufacturers are OFTEN build a super-mid range Android phones and give premium specs (2/3 GB RAM LPDDR3, 64-bit SoC, 1080p screen, 13mp camera with Samsung/Sony sensors) but compasate it with CRAP-like-performance SoC to meet their price target. You certainly doesn't know this from ur comments, therefore gave advice to buy K4 Note. If u are looking for a Lenovo phones with MediaTek-powered device, it's better if u look at K3 Note, a bit old, but will give u absolute performance, OR just wait for K5 Note released in your country, BETTER specs than K3 Note in every aspects (SoC, GPU, RAM, Camera, Display, UI, Android version). Just forget that K4 Note even exist
PS. Lenovo is doing the exact same thing as Alcatel does, release a good Android device (Flash Plus) which becomes quite a boom, and then released its successor with better specs but POOR SoC (and ofc GPU) (Alcatel OT Flash 2)
