Hi,
I have lenovo VIBE K5 note, purchased on OCT 10 from Flipkart. I am having issue that is R symbol near signal bar even in home network of my Aircel sim. This issue started since a month ago. Every thing is fine, no roaming charges but data connection is taking time, have to on/offdata a couple of times to get internet.
I tired these things below.
1. Tired booting insafe mode- same issue.
2. Manually selected operator options- same issue.
3. Inserted my Aircel sim in another mobile- working fine in other mobiles & other network sims working fine in my mobile.
4. Changed to new sim on same number - same issue
4. Swap the sim slots - no use..same issue.
5. Issue started by itself just a couple of days after updating the firmware with recent 83mb update.
6. When I called customer care they said visit aircel store. I went to Aircel store. The person there told me some phones behave like this only. If they catch Roaming signal once they wont stop showing R symbol. You have to put your sim in another mobile for 2-3 days then it will be ok. I tried for 3 days It didnt work.
7. I even reset my phone - same issue. Even when i went to other towns & cities of home circle same issue.
8. I even posted in lenovo community no response.
So I request Lenovo experts to help me fixing this problem.

My videos initially played well. But nowadays the screen goes absolutely dark when i play videos. Is there a solution ??

Very, very good phone. Great battery, great performance, great design. For others asking - android nougat should be available for it this January - February. All the Best

This phone is very bad phone, after 1 month usage
Always hanging
Slow performance
Is not compatible with my car carkit
Suddenly started to take very long time while charging , the phone battery was on50% , and it is telling me that I have 9 hours to be fully charged
Battery is consumed very fast
Stay away from this phone
