Shrip, 05 May 2018Guys for battery related issues after Oreo update, drain yo... moreAs per lenovo themselves in the forum , after the updates, it will take a month to stablise the phone performance... Not sure it should take such a long time however at least we know that this is normal that battery will be discharging faster and phone will heat up Atleast for few weeks.. So we should relax..

Worst udate given to lenovo k8 note. Earlier phone was working fine now these issue arise
It heat too much unable to keep in pocket
Carging time 3 to 6 hours
Battery drain too fast.
Worst company in Mobile manufacturing.

Guys for battery related issues after Oreo update, drain your battery once to 0% and then full charge your phone to 100%. Battery will be reconfigured and it will work smoothly.

I updated my device day before yesterday and faced quick battery draining and device heating issue. As advised by someone here I did try something and it worked absolutely fine for me.
After you are done with the update let the battery drain to zero while you are using it normally. The device switches off obviously. Start charging that and don't disconnect charger till you see the 100% mark. The phone may thereafter be put in operation.
For me, the draining time has in fact decreased than the one before updating. Too good. The heating issue too seems to have waned off. Cool.
And in my case, charging from 0% to 100% took exactly 2 hours 40 minutes.
This is good phone.

Since last update 3 days back I facing problem with the mobile as it's battery getting discharged within no time, it's take too much time in recharge, getting heat up heavily and also hanging up very frequently..
Please try to resolve these issues..

AnonD-756810, 04 May 2018good phone but still hands down for Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 ProRn5 pro released just 2 months back. Whereas k8 note released almost 10 months back. You can't compare both the phones. This phone is quite underrated. It's one of the best phones to come out in that particular price segement. But no one gives a damn because all are obsessed with snapdragon processors.

Is there a way i may roll back to Nougat instead of Oreo os Lenovov planning any update sooner than later.

I have updated it over WiFi and not over data network, still I am facing issue after update, it is the most unstable update, Lenovo has a bad track record in matter of OS updates, do some research before suggesting.
