=No option of SMS sending for Both SIM (You have to select one default. No option of "ASK for SIM")
=LED Notification Light not working
=No Option to stop Vibration when other end user pick up the Phone !!!
=Battery is drain very fast in mediateck Processor.
=Not showing Battery percentage in mortification Bar..

    Writing this review after using the phone for couple of days. I already have a Samsung J5, my gf has a Redmi note 4. So I will you a in-depth comparison.

    Display: None can beat Samsung's super amoled. K8 note has a vivid FHD display with enough brightness.

    Camera: Daylight performance is comparable with Samsung, but low light performance is poor. Redmi is far behind from the other two. The front camera of K8 surprisingly beats Samsung. As of now, the dual camera is useless. Because it can't detect edges properly, I am sure Lenovo will fix it with ota updates.

    Battery: Redmi wins here. K8 lasts a full day with moderate use and it takes 2hours to full charge.

    Heating: I have tested the phone with some heavy graphics games. Normal heating is there, even my Samsung heats that much. So far no abnormal heating.

    Performance: The stock Android with a powerful processor. You'll feel the speed. No lags at all. Definately beats other two. And one more thing, K8 memory management is amazing. It keeps a lot of apps in memory. If you need performance, or you are a developer, this is perfect choice.

    Customization and features: Stock Android has advantage as well as disadvantage too. Redmi offers best customization. Samsung as always keep things easy to use. But in case of stock Android (K8), you have to be happy with the features that Google offers. Though Lenovo has added some cool things like: VR mode, double tap wake up, Dolby digital etc. Features that I miss on stock Android: Theme, Native video calling (useful for Indian JIO users, where users can do video calls without data connection). Ohh I forgot to mention, the music key in K8 is a bonus feature and you get a dedicated SD slot.

    Sound: I always complained about in-call sound of Redmi note 4. The K8 in-call volume is very loud and clear on both headphones and front speakers. Better than the other two. Media sound quality is awesome with Dolby on K8 (you need a good quality 3rd party headphone, to experience the awesomeness that dolby offers). Loudness of loudspeaker is same on both k8 and RN4. It seems that Lenovo has locked maximum output power on 3.5 jack. So software amplifications will not work on K8.

    Build quality: K8 has metal back and plastic front. Redmi is full metal. Lenovo provides a tempered glass and a back cover out of the box. K8 is rain water proof. K8 does't have backlit softkeys. The notification LED on K8 can only notify missed calls, messages and mails (if stock mail client is used). You need to improve it Lenovo so that at least whatsapp notification work.

    Network: K8 doesn't support 4G on sim2. It supports VOLTE on SIM1.


    The budget segment was dominated by Redmi. Now K8 throws a good competition to Redmi (After the release of K8, Redmi changed the marketing strategy from Flash sell to open sell).

    The choice between RN4 and K8 depends on user needs. If you prefer camera and performance, go for K8. If you need good customization ability, go for RN4.

      As soon as I bought the mobile from the courier person, I eagerly transferred songs from my older mobile and started the Google music player in Lenovo k8 Note to experience it's fantastic Dolby Atmos Surround Sound which I had experienced in Lenovo k4 Note. But I was very much disappointed that Lenovo k8 Note doesn't provide Dolby Atmos Surround sound AT ALL.

      Dear manufacturers, Kindly take your previous edition Lenovo k4 Note and check it's sound and compare it with k8. It is worst as your competitor's Dolby Atmos. Don't replicate those duplicate Dolby Atmos. Come back again with dual Front facing Speakers as Lenovo k4 which has excellent Dolby Atmos experience. And even, using top branded Headphone, did not give much difference between 'With Dolby Atmos' and 'Without Dolby Atmos' option.

      The main reason why I bought :Lenovo k8 Note is the Lenovo's Real Dolby Atmos sound (as i thought before buying), otherwise your competiror has all other specifications as K8. But even Lenovo started making false promise (like your competitor) that the mobile has 'Dolby Atmos' by just enabling some Equilizer options like just we had in 2000's mobiles, but the output is 'Null'.

Guess it's not wrong. But the cpu apps Don recognise the x23 as it the derivative from x20.. Ours ll show 2.3 ghz Whr x20 is 2.1 ghz only. So not fake. I even mailed lenovo and got the reply

                  Fruad Lenovo. They gave specification as helio x23...but the product I received has hello x20. Guys ..pls check your hardware configuration. Lenovo is fooling us.

                  I charged my mobile to 100% at 6.15 pm.

                  Then I used internet via WiFi. And played asphalt 8 up to 6 races. Then I watched videos in YouTube and used fb and WhatsApp for sometime. Heat issue is there. NOTE: U DIDN'T USE THE MOBILE CONTINUOUSLY.

                  My Total battery backup came up to 12 o' clock.

                  It's not a 4000 mAh battery...it's a 2000 mAh.

                  LENOVO IS NOT GENUINE TO THEIR CUSTOMERS.

                  SPECIFICATION IS DIFFERENT AND PRODUCT HAS DIFFERENT HARDWARE.

                  Please...! DO NOT BUY THIS MOBILE. WASTE OF MONEY.

                      Dont judge phone base only for camera.
                      There are tons important thing other than camera.

                      My 2nd phone was redmi Note4 helio x20.
                      Even the camera is crap than my galaxy note 4..

                      but im happy the way its handle high intensive cpu game like Clash of clans and Age of empire..

                      Very very responsive compare to GalaxyN4- Snapdragon 805

                      Helio X20 is faster than my Galaxy Note 4.

                        Maybe android OS doesnt recognize it as x23 because the system hardware not update.
                        Or Lenovo did not provide the update yet.

                          helio x20 score was lower than that and around 15 k scoreline....
                          Or use geek bench 4 to identify the arm core detail description.
                          both helio x20 and x23 use different clock speed configuration.
