Unfortunately until today, any OEM that puts out a Mediatek inside device would have a harder time keeping the firmware/software side as regularly updated as their Snapdragon driven counterparts simply because it seems that Mediatek are just plain reluctant to play ball. Let's not even begin to discuss what can or can't external 3rd ROM devs do if Mediatek can easily tell OEMs off.

I donttt care if my friend goin laugh at me because Im driving Benz C180 to work.
No matter what I will buy this phone and trade with my lagging galaxy Note 4.

This phone is real beast for a reasonable price it could be one of most selling devices with screen as big as 5.5

I usually prefer SD w/ Adreno but MTK x23 w/ Mali-T880 MP4 is better than SD625, a lot of SD fanboys should understand and learn how to compare chipsets, CPU and GPU, not just the name that it carries
all in all, this seems to be the best phone Lenovo has released which does not belong in the flagship series, way to go Leno

you are so wrong. the helio x23 has 2 cortex a72 cores which are more powerful that cortex a53 on the snapdragon 625...
