hi all, using the k8 plus since past 5 days the mtklog directory has grown by 2.3GB. Also it keeps log of almost everything & keeps growing. There is no way to disable it from mtk engineering menu (*#*#3646633#*#*) where mtk logger is disabled. From searching found other ways *#9527*# which wont work on k8.
After a bit of research i found that in mtklog-config.prop this line should be false which as of now is
"com.mediatek.log.mobile.enabled = true"
we cant edit without rooting & that voids warranty.
Scary thing is mtklog directory records lot of stuff related to device. It also consumes a lot of space overtime & no way to disable it
I hope lenovo issue urgent patch for this. any k8 users know how to disable mtklog help me out.
