You get hooked instead of opening closing a laptop you are in and out. I already carry a cell phone to take pictures, a watch and an 8" tablet.

Grossed Fatigue, 29 Dec 2022No LTE no salesYou ok man? Did your eyes mistaken this tablet as a phone? If so you should get your eyes checked.

Imagine buying a tablet expecting to make calls from it 🤣

I've never had any need for cellular on a tablet. You have your phone for that.

All tablets should be no more than 7mm thick, because it's a large device.

zaid , 11 Oct 2022Is this Lenovo tablet worth buying or are there better options?IMHO, it's only worth buying if you are very comfortable with ZUI or are willing to install a GSI rom. I was not comfortable with ZUI, so I went the GSI route with Magisk.

They have yet to release a cellular version anywhere. It's far more likely that Google is refusing to certify it than Lenovo not wanting to release it; the hardware is fully capable of having network connectivity.

I bought one from giztop. It's ok. I like the screen size, but the thickness is a bit much and the weight is way too much. I'd have preferred a less hefty tablet.

If yes, do you need t... moreIt can be used to make VoIP calls (e.g. through Google Voice) but you'd have to either use a headset or speaker as there's no earpiece above the screen. It doesn't have cellular connectivity (I'm not sure where GSMArena got that idea from — if there's a future version with cellular, it's certainly not been for sale to date). If you want to use this as a phone, I can't strongly enough recommend the Huawei MediaPad M6 8.4 Turbo. It was flagship specs a few years back, and it still performs absolutely beautiful. It has the nicest LCD panel I've seen on a mobile device (granted, still would have preferred OLED) and the most insanely powerful, bass-heavy speakers that easily best most laptops.

Can this be used to make phone calls? If yes, do you need to use a headset?
Does it have 4G or 5G connectivity?
Is cellular connectivity available with all of them or is it a special version?

I've been on a 7in phone for years and there's nothing "good enough" to upgrade to for about 5 years. It's either this or a foldable. I'm thinking to make the leap to this. Thanks!

If only it was an OLED screen then I'd be screaming, take my money!
