Purchasing of Lenovo P2 is the ... moreThere are many smartphones in the market today with large battery packs, but the Lenovo P2 is probably the best of the lot, from what we have tested. The company has done well to provide a value for money package to the end consumer. The one thing that disappointed me was the camera, but besides that I was quite satisfied with the experience. If you are looking for a big battery smartphone, this is the one to go for.
The 3GB variant of the Lenovo P2 is priced at Rs 16,999 while the 4GB variant, which I recommend, is selling at Rs 17,999. I think that’s a fair price point and knowing Lenovo, it should shed some bucks in the coming months.
Yes if you compare it with the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 (4GB RAM + 64GB ROM), it may seem priced higher for the same set of specs, but the Lenovo P2 wins our speed test against xiaomi note 4 and has a much larger battery than note 4 . Other alternatives to the Lenovo P2 are the Lenovo K6 Power and the Asus Zenfone 3S Max. If you are looking for a better performance package, then do check out the Lenovo Z2 Plus

Moreover u cannot apply tempered glass without air bubbles on the corner because it has bent screen issue....u can look at this video

So if u ensure that u would never drop it then definitely go for it..

Purchasing of Lenovo P2 is the ... moreIf there is issue of budget then go for Redmi Note 4, If camera is the utmost priority for you then go for moto G5 plus, If you need a balanced phone(In fact, this one is the combination of RN4 & Moto G5 Plus; if you closely look at every important aspects) and budget is not at all an issue for you then absolutely go for Lenovo P2. The phone could have been the best in its segment if it has offered at least a 64GB variant. Then it will never be a mistake saying it a product value for money.

It charges fast in real life 2 %to 73% in a hour,. 75 % charge with mobile data always on screen at 30% brightness it will go on a full day 5 to 6 hours screen on time. I'm using it for past 7 days,.

There is no official lineage os support for this device and three is no custom rom in xda forum supports volte,notification light, finger print without bugs. I switch mobile every year. Waiting for redmi pro 2.

Take a note that the PET film fixes perfectly without any air bubbles...
The sunken screen issue was found when applying a tempered glass...
So I may conclude that the sunken screen issue is still present......

Anonymous, 26 May 2017@Amrish7799 Are you using a tempered glass or the stock PET... moreStock screen gaurd given in the box. Actually using a tempered screen gaurd for a 2.5D glass wont look nice... So I prefer the thin PET film.... Also i wont recommend it to others coz it affects the look of the phone..unless they can use the phone with utmost care. Also the screen breaks eventhough a tempered screen gaurd is used when fell from a height. Sadly thats the nature of a 2.5D....

Anonymous, 26 May 2017Damn, @azhar75 is it really true that P2 charges in 90 mins 😂Not true... the quickest from 1% to 100% (when P2 is OFF) is around 1 hour 50 minutes.

For me P2 always charges for about 2h10min from 0-100% (with phone switched off during charging).
I dont charge my phone(s) when they are ON, becouse I believe its not good for battery.

Really annoying that the power button twice to open camera quickly feature is getting activated automatically everytime and I manually switch it off everytime.... It mainly happens after each reboot...
Reported the same in official forum but not got any reply....
