Hi anybody in Bangalore who can help me with LineageOS installation on my Lenovo P2 ?

    How to Turn Your Lenovo P2 Into an Beast?
    1.Unlock Bootloader
    2.Install TWRP Custom Recovery
    3.Install AEX 8.1 Oreo Custom Rom (Am Using it)
    4.Enable "Swipe Up Gestures" Like Oneplus 6 in the Setting.
    5.Enable Expanded Dekstop.(Will Hide Navigation Bar and Notification Bar)
    6.Intall Any Icon Pack(Am Using s9 UX) and Activate it.
    7.Enable Faceunlock under Smart Unlock Setting.

    Belive Me Guys you Will Fall in Love With Your P2.

    For Us Lenovo P2 Users It's An Flagship Killer :)

    P.s- It Has Some Bugs, But VOLTE, NFC,WIFI, Bluetooth is Working Fine

        hey guys! found a lenovo p2 replacement! the honor note 10! afar from the big size and price, its the p2 in 2018! please see the link fo the youtube video (not a click bait) on how it slaughtered the mi max 3 on battery drain test. also, gsm arena spec sheet says 22.5W charging close to 24W p2 charging!!!

          Accubattery and Ampere helps understand Charging speed, monitor Battery health etc. I dont use it always, but helps. The point was, the phone does not report battery Charging and Discharge values to apps and thats a problem.

          Regarding contacts, Thanks for your suggestion, but i am in business and need these. Its a specific use case and probably trimming contacts is not a solution to an actual problem of Google contacts sync / contacts missing on P2 (but still available in Google web contacts).

            Also, can i assume it is just me and no one else is facing Google contacts missing / sync issue ?

Fortunately it was under warranty period and they replaced the screen within one day. Smartphone nowadays very fragile. No guarantee even if you buy expensive phone..

                      The touch screen of my P2 broke : it became unresponsive in the middle for a width of 1 cm, detected using the Lenovo Help App. I was hoping that it would life at least 2 years, it doesn't reach even 1 and a half year. One of the worst purchases ever (besides the lach of updates) and I won't recommend Lenovo Brand to anyone.

                          Delete some old use less contacts. Why you need to transfer 1000 contracts. Free some space.

                          Don't install custom rom. Original is the best. I don't know why people need to do this. They want super powers? It damages smartphone..

                              Hi friends, i broke my Samsung S7 and switched back to LENOVO P2 that was stored away in my drawer. I have strange problem

                              a. My entire Google Contacts is not syncing with this phone. Tried RESET and FORMAT like 3 times with no luck. I have over 1000 contacts, but this phone syncs less than 1/2 of it every time I reset the phone.

                              b. "Accubattery" and "Ampere" apps are unable to monitor battery.

                              Any help ?

                                Lenovo P2 is really amazing. Just completed 1 and half years. It's still giving me average 13 hours screen on time just like its first day. Super amoled display is very good, Snapdragon 625 is a good processor for daily task, always on finger print sensor on the front side is really helpful to navigate. Camera is good in daylight, and sound quality is really mind blowing. Loud and clear. Very few phones have 24 watt fast charging support. Android 7 is good os. Never lag. No security updates after aug 17 but not facing any problem. I really love this phone. People are now fighting for bezzel less display, notch or notch less, 18:9 or 16:9 etc etc bla bla.. But no other phone can give same performance like Lenovo P2. It's a very good balanced device. What's missing in it? Almost nothing. Gyroscope, compass, NFC, everything what you need is present. It's very sad that Lenovo is not paying attention on P series anymore. Thanks for read. ;-)

                                  P2 owners - does anyone using P2 with google pay application? When I search in play store it does not even show google pay application. When I manually go to google pay url via www, then it shows that my phone is not compatible with this application.
                                  p.s. I am still using android 6.0.1 on my P2.

                                    dont see disadvantage about p2..
                                    user who play game dragon nest m,pubg, ros or other game with high & more high grapic, sure no lag! i user p2! :)
