      Hello everyone!

      I just want to give you an update on the GALILEO GNSS (European GPS alternative) support.

      According to Qualcomm official statement, the P2’s Snapdragon 625 supports GALILEO, GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, QZSS and SBAS. The hardware support it, it only needs software/firmware update. I’m not sure who should provide this update, Lenovo or Qualcomm. But in any case, contact them both and ask for their support!

      A key fact about GALILEO GNSS that everyone should know!

      GALILEO has the best precision (1 meter public/1 centimeter encrypted) of all available alternative GNSS.

      GPSTest supports all devices with Android 7.0 (N) that have a Galileo-compatible chipset. Support for Galileo on Android 6.0.1 (M) and lower will depend on your device OEM. That is because Android 7.0 added some new API which allows determination of the GNSS type of each satellite.

          New 78MB System Update. Don't know what for. Security patch level still on 1.2.17 Android 7.0
          Download Manager has returned in app drawer.

            It is not necessary to do factory reset after update to Nougat. Just restart your phone two times, clear cache junk from trash cleaner, update all apps.

              Hi,

              I have updated to nougat, but long press square button splits the screen into two parts, whereas in Marshmallow menu comes, so want to know how can I get menu option in nougat???

                The Lenovo P2 can easily last three days if you don't play mobile games. I averaged four days before getting the Nougat update.

                The only bug I have is if I'm using a live wallpaper, flipping the ultra battery mode will change it to a static wallpaper when I go back to normal battery mode. Now I no longer use live wallpaper because I get tired of switching it.

                        [deleted post]You have three (3) levels of remedial works if after Nougat OTA, P2 does not perform as expected:
                        1) Reboot P2 three (3) times and update all apps in the Google PlayStore via Wi-Fi.

                        2) Clear the storage cache in the Settings and reboot P2.

                        3) Last resort, full backup and hard reset or factory reset.

                            Last week I bought the phone, today I received an update of nougat, so want to know show I update or stay with marshmallow.

                            Is there problem with volume, mic and other party receiving call in nougat update.... Or any other problem...

                              Is it necessary to factory reset my phone after updating it to Nougat..? Cuz all my apps are in my phone's ROM and it will be a hassle creating and restoring backup..

                                Bingo...!!! Never touch P2 while it is charging... Else, the chip in the battery will stop the fast charging to control heat during charging....

                                  AnonD-606777, 12 Apr 2017just discovered a new bug proximity sensor always active ... moreit will be on for lockscreen. if u unlock or lock then sensor will be stop. it will never stop in lock screen becasue there is a "prevent poket dial mode" on.

                                    I noticed when I charge the phone 3 scenarios happen:

                                    1- fast charging never stop.

                                    2- fast charging stop, when I press sleep button, fast charging resume. I think when I use any app it just stops. Maybe because of heat protection.

                                    3- when phone is sleep, fast charging never stop.

                                    ..

I updated to nougat after that download apps is not being shown in data usage list (From where we can allow/restrict use of dat for any app.
