@ azhar75: My P2 has nothing to do with UK/Three. I got it from Amazon.it and it was shipped from Italy.

I have same ROM as you and I do have this issue with desynch.
Check this video on your P2 with youtube app - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x0Hr1BxNQr4
^ Are you saying that its absolutely fine with your P2 when playing with youtube app??? For me, its not! Audio is out of synch. You can clearly see that from first second its start playing.

And then install Dolphin web browser in your P2 (from playstore) and play same video in there, you will see there is absolutely no lag.

Is your unit made in China or in India? (Mine is in China, made by Motorola Mobility LLC) Where did you get yours? In Europe or in India or somewhere else?

Should be affecting to UK/Three units only...

However, P2 firmware for UK/Three units has plenty of bugs such as YouTube audio out-of-sync, GMail push notifications failure, non-responsive touch screen near at the on-screen navigation bar.

Meanwhile, all P2 worldwide has similar issue below:
                    1) Aggressive NOISE CANCELLING MIC algorithm during video recording.
                    2) Tiny audio quality for WhatsApp/SnapChat/etc.

I have trouble with email sync with the Gmail app.
If i send an email to myself all my other devices gets a notification directly.

With my P2 i have to open the Gmail app and manually sync it otherwise i dont know i've got an email.

Anybody know which settings to get it to work properly?

Brilliant phone. Battery lasts at least 2/3 days with normal use; expandable memory, although mine has 32gb of internal memory, with a SD card, can go up to a lot. Feels really premium in hand, all around made of metal. Although says it's a 8.3 mm width, feels like a 6-7 mm phone, due to curves. Best deal I ever made in UK, it's only 199 £ on Three, and comes unlocked. Would really recommend it. Pictures and videos quality I think it's excellent as well.

More worrying (than getting Nougat) for me is that Lenovo don't care to release security patches. P2 is still on October 2016 security patch.

P2, 12 Mar 2017@azhar75 your comments: Moto is under Lenovo ryt....Still ... moreLenovo acquired Motorola Mobility is to capture their presence in the US. Huawei and LeEco also trying to penetrate US markets by their own ways.

Since Moto phones are "already" popular in US and international market, hence, Lenovo has to continue the tradition to give prompt updates to all Moto branded phones. Lenovo keeps putting Moto selling price very high to ensure they can cover the operation cost of Moto branded phones including providing OTAs. That's the price consumer has to pay in order to get latest OTAs for 2 years in Moto brand.

However, Lenovo branded phones are not popular in US and also keep declining year-to-year market shares to other players like Huawei, Oppo and Vivo in international scenes despite selling price is at par or lower than Huawei, Oppo and Vivo.

Hence, Lenovo strategy for Lenovo brand is to keep on introducing year-to-year new model in order to lure consumers to upgrade to year-to-year model. You can see the pattern for Lenovo K-series where by they keep on introducing new models to lure consumers. Introducing brand new model with latest Android OS is more strategic than updating old model to the latest OS. Hence, Lenovo only provide 1-year Android update to ensure their old model still relevant until the same model is released with latest Android.

So, when P3 is introduced this/next year, it already has Android Nougat and will be upgraded to Android Oreo for sure. Sadly for P2, Android Oreo is not to be seen because Lenovo is focusing 100% effort to P3 already. No point focusing on old P2 because no one is interested to buy P2 when P3 is more "interesting" and better than P2.

Thus, if one is serious about 2 years OTAs, get the more "premium" price of Moto brands. Lenovo branded phones are "affordable" and 1-year update is enough before being replaced by another same but fresh model with latest Android platform.

But my take is to use the phone "as is" rather than getting OTAs frequently. To me (my point of view and many Average Joe non-tech buyers out there) is that OTAs are not important. No matter how latest the OTAs we received, the phone will get sluggish and security can never be strengthened all the time. Security breach always mutated every seconds. The OTAs that we receive today will be breach the next day...it will never stop...
