The Mi5 is a flagship device with SD820
While the P2 is a midrange device with SD625
It comes down if you can get it with warranty. If you care about screen size. Or, you only want a battery focused smartphone with more than decent spec. Or, if weight is important to you.
Look on what fill your needs.

Overall its made for big battery lovers. Compared to P1, its more lighter in weight,better display, better camera quality(its not made for camera lovers)ive owned p780,s860,p70,p1. Of course this P2 is much² better for a mid range,big battery phone.so far, ive no problem in using Lenovo smartphones.

Hi iam recived lenovo p2 this morning. Iam check the phone excellent display. Amazing battery nice camera with 4k video recording. Amazing sound clarity. Superb colours. Touch is very smoothly iam full happy 4hours useing the the phone no heat. Thank u lenovo my no 9493255266.

Just got my champangne gold unit on tuesday last week, and i've got to say the battery life is amazing. Upgrading from samsung galaxy grand 2, the need to charge my phone daily is gone. The screen is beautiful, the speaker is loud, the performance is great and the camera is good enough for someone like me who don't even use camera much. So far i'm satisfied with this phone.

@Patrick: After dialing *#07# phone shows some Regulatory information screen with phone model and message: "For more information, please consult the user manual".
There was no any SAR rating given in that screen message.

4K Ultra HD recording is missing in the spec sheet. The P2 is capable of 4K Ultra HD recording.

Question, 14 Jan 2017Is the camera good? Is there multitouch? How is the batte... moreif cam is ua priority then this device is not for u....its a battery centric device which can easily last for 3 days if ur not a moderate user...but then also it can give 11-12hrs of SOT...as well as the price is acceptable...
