@azhar75: Wanted to discuss about this from too long but good that I will not have to type much as there's a new thread created by someone on the official forum that exactly explains about my problem too...
The only change is that I use Earphones instead of headphones as mentioned in the post....You can head to the official forum or else I am just copying the thread posted by the user (Not the replies given by LeMoto agent) here...I would advise you to visit the forum once...

Few days ago my headphones stopped working properly with my P2 and only muffled sounds are being produced by them, the headphones are working fine in PC and other phone. Even the company provided headphones are not working.
If I twist them around by pulling up the headphone jack only then the sound comes clear, otherwise only muffled music is produced and no vocals.
Then one day I tried my other headphones of Sennheiser HD 203 and CX 180 street which were suprisingly working fine. Another thing I noticed that both the sennheisers have two rings in their tip and one which are not working have three rings. That means the headphones with mic will not work in my phone (if I'm right).
Kindly help in this case.

Firstly the headphone jack is indeed 3.5mm which I'm using.
Secondly the headphones were working fine with the phone, but suddenly one day this thing happened and now they are not working with the phone. I tried some other headphones also (with three ring type) but they didn't worked as well. The same problem muffled music continues.
Normal speakers are also working fine. I think it has got to do with the rings of the jack that I mentioned before.

I use a normal earphone (not the one given in box).... I m facing this problem from last few months (Not initially when bought last year)...
But one thing that I noticed right from the beginning is that the headphone symbol on the top status bar always appeared to be distorted when fixed perfectly and which now also results into muffled music and almost no vocals... Otherwise, if inserted lightly, it works fine but often gets off due to veey loose connection...
I m confused whether its an audio jack problem, an earphone problem or a buggy update installed.....On the other hand, the audio jack distortion problem was reported by many few months after launch which was reportedly solved OR was a problem only in few units (Not initially in my case)....
Would now wait for some problem solving replies...Not willing to visit the service centre....
All replies here as well as on the forum are welcomed...!!!

but anything using "current" MTK SoC is not under my radar... awaiting for review of MTK 10nm SoC for mid-ranger before switching from current P2...

So sad to see many friends having trouble to get the screen repaired.
Just an advice to those owners who is having an intention to keep P2 as long term usage, ensure to apply proper shock - proof protection on the screen as well as the body of P2.
It is not worth the investment to get the screen replaced when the cost is around 70% of a brand new P2....

My P2's screen has been shattered completely however it was working well and later little water splashed on it, since then it's not powering on. When try to power it on the device vibrates on certain interval and if I plug charger, the red notification come and goes like vehicle indicator...
Any DIY solution or reliable Service centre in Bangalore ?
Note: Put in the rice bag has already been tried, any other solutions please.

Anonymous, 16 Feb 2018@azhar75 Can we expect something at the MWC?? Nope... Just pay attention to what Motorola Mobility is going to offer instead... Moto G6 series is the closest to P3 with lower energy capacity and non-super AMOLED screen...
Also, take a peek on Asus offering too...
As of now, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is the best choice to replace P2 (if one is desperately needs to have better camera and SoC performance...)
As for me, my P2 will rock on for the next 730 days...

One of the biggest disadvantage of Lenovo P2 is, You can't buy a new phone without having a massive 5100 mAh battery. Current generation smartphone has average 3500mah battery which can't give you more than 7 hours usage time. Lenovo P2 is really an exceptional. Lenovo now focussing only on moto brand. (Upcoming lenovo moto G6+ SD630, 3250mah)
