No phone will ever beat this battery beast
I personally don't mind too much if a phone holds good for a whole day, and has quick charge to top it off at night
You are also right about the pure Android on P2, but this phone ain't getting any more OS updates, so you will be stuck with Nougat
The custom ROM scene is also not very good with P2, there are no bug-free ROMs out there

I got many phones, but P2's battery life makes it stick in my hand and no need to let go of it for too long for charging. BTW, it's system is already very "pure".

I've been going through the reviews of a lot of devices over the past few weeks, intending to replace my current smartphone. Loved reading about the P2. My only worry is that it's nearly a year since this phone was announced. Any information on whether P3 is getting released soon? Just a wish, Lenovo, if you're reading this. Lenovo P3 as an AndroidOne device with Oreo will be too good to resist.

The super amoled screen is better in P2, but is it really that apparent in day to day usage compared to LCD ?
Hate letting go of the awesome battery in P2, but A1 will be lighter I guess, and lasts typically a day
Though A1 seems to be missing fast charging which is a big con
But P2 aint getting any more updates after N, and the custom ROM development scene is also not good for P2, whereas A1 will get direct updates from Google for next 2 years
Also the camera on A1 is definitely far superior than P2
Or maybe I should wait for Moto X4, also supposed to come out with Android One from Google

I am worried about my p2 its not working properly after reboot or shutdown fast charging start for only 30 minute and after 96% its again charging
Normal i am using orignal charger and version is marshmallow

Dearest Lenovo.This smartdevice phablet with respect to complete GSMArena review even without WiFi direct and at least Bluetooth 4.2 + its auxiliaries( 2016 )is the best smartdevices made by Lenovo....Hopefully yours merger with Motorola gives better and the best devices on both brands on the most quality makers in markets....Good luck for betterment from nowadays....Justice Rights.Omid12Omidvar loves the best of any brands....

Always use back cover, which edges protect screen too and a cheap plastic or glass screen protector. You can also get it from Lenovo service center. Rs 350 INR.

Yes the phone is heavy, but it's lighter than iPhone 7 plus
It was heavy at the beginning, maybe cause i was using iPhone 6 which is very light. But now I really don't mind the weight.
I don't mind anything in thia phone, cause this is a special phone, no manufacture have made such phone for 240$ (price in Saudi Arabia).
