Btw, check out Panasonic Eluga A3 and Eluga A3 Pro (shamelesly copied design from P2). And its even have 4000mAh. Too bad not 5000+. Most phone makers still don't get fact that we want bigger batteries now. I dont even consider anything below 5000mAh.

Hi guys . I have 2 serious problem on my lenovo p2:
-The battery and the whole phone get's hot while just surfing the net (The heat reaches 41 max and at least 37) and if I play a powerful game it attains 45 max if are you using this smartphone tell me about ur phone's heat to aid me
-The second problem that I live in a bad country concerning networks , with my tablet huwaei t1 10'' It can receive 3g hardly but it receives it the most of the time like 80% but with lenovo It receives the 3g like 20% and the most of the time it doesn't that's why i consider this as a very big problem .. help me please ..
-last big problem is the phone uses all the 8 cores all the time whie my tablet uses just one core and add more cores on active mode if i play a game for example.. this is a big issue as well because it leads to overheating and battery drain

I am still getting poor battery life .... i have factory reset the phone but it still performing same. Don't know what suddenly happened...??????:(

even flagships have something lacking with that hefty price, and more often its the battery, at least P2 has that going for it ;)
not so sure if K8 is good on performance considering it has a Mediatek chip and not SD
P.S: P2 is selling around 11k INR now in India, which makes it a steal

Worth the wait for S244 OTA... LeMoto will issue OTA every quarter...? Next OTA ETA is 11th November...?

Charged 25 hrs ago. 50% battery left. 8 hr 09 minutes screen on time already. At this rate it will cross 15 hrs SOT over 2 days(48+ hrs).
My usage pattern - brightness at 50-60% in automatic mode. Sync on all the time. Facebook, whatsapp, twitter, youtube, typical browsing web on chrome and uc. Around half an hour of music via Bluetooth. A few calls. Google app disabled. I do it in all phones(it's a huge battery drainer)
All this usage on 4g LTE data turned on 90% of the time. So for me it's going great.
Overtime there is some sureshot battery degradation and it might be more evident on P2 as it has ridiculously fast charger. But i doubt it would appear so soon. Just check for your usage. Maybe some apps r using unnecessary battery. Also when i bought my P2, all these new uodates had arrived. I downloaded and updated in one go and reset my phone after that. So that might be one of the reasons i get so good battery.

Never overcharged for more than 5 mins. When it was new I was getting 12hrs plus SOT but now it hardly reach 1hrs SOT....With almost same routine usage

Though the infamous Mediatek chip on K8 needs some attention before buying
No phone has such awesome battery as P2, but it has crappy camera, so you gotto prioritize

App launching times on MIUI is definitely greater because of the heavy MIUI
MIUI doesnt have any extra useful features which P2 doesn't have
also RAM management is horrible in MIUI, with apps closing in the background at random

However, both G5+ & Mi5X can gaming 6 hours max. Powerbank while gaming will deteriorate the lithium ion cells in the battery. The phone battery can only last 1.5 years...
True hardcore gamer will do 9 hours straight non-stop without powerbank and only P2 is able to fulfill the legend gamers for 3 years down the road...
Camera in budget/mid tiers are all rubbish due to poor hardware/software combos... It's all enuff for social media, not for professional usage...

I am getting around 1.5 - 2 hours screen of time for 10% battery use. It's going really great for me.
