But heat esp if charging in a hot operating environment , putting the phone to heavy use while charging should be avoided as much as possible.(Supplied Charger itself must have some mechanism to adjust rate of charging though.)
Heat is the villain for lithium ion type batteries as it reduces the capacity slowly over time. Also if possible try to operate within 25-85% battery charge as it was found to be good for long life of batteries as per some research. i.e charge around 20-25% and stop around 85% as it would avoid discharges from full charge as well as charging from below 20% which are found to reduce capacity in the long term.
These are some facts found for Lithium ion type batteries based on battery research article i read and so should be true for P2 battery as well.

I just bought my P2 earlier this month and install Naugut immediately after my first boot.
It runs smoothly and having no problem at all. I have to say Lenovo P2 is the best phone I have used so far.

AceShot, 18 Jul 2017Hi after nougat update is storage smaller or it deletes mar... moreI did the nougat update immediately on new device and didn't notice storage,memory differences between android 6 aka marshmallow vs android 7 aka nougat.
But based on marshmallow/6 resource usage on my previous/old phone i can say :
1. Storage : Marshmallow/6 OS -4.2 GB vs Nougat/7 OS - 8.13 GB
Add some 3-5GB more of internal storage depending on Google apps,others that come with device typically.
So yes nougat takes more storage it appears.
2. RAM/Memory usage - Again based on what i saw nougat can take 400-500MB more. Nougat kernel itself is memory heavy compared to marshmallow kernel.
You would typically see 1.2GB of memory used even without running any apps with nougat .
All above data is based on what i saw.

Battery... moreBattery lasts 2 days easily even with gaming and heavy usage
will last even 3 days if there is less usage
The best part is, quick charge is really awesome for P2, I just charge my device from 10 to 60-65% and it lasts for more than a day even with heavy usage including moderate gaming
didn't face any heating issues

Whats th... moreI would answer based on what i have seen/my usage:
Battery backup,charging: Battery is the good thing in the phone and would give 2-3 days of lifetime on single full charge depending on usage.
Charging using supplied charger is fast but still would take around 2hrs as the final 10% charging from 90% to 100% still would take more than 35min in my experience. But charging from 10-20% to 80% or so would happen in 45min real fast compared to normal chargers.
Nougat update: It is advised to immediately do the OTA (109MB one) and other big 1957MB nougat update as soon as you get new device. By doing this you can avoid any possible factory reset etc and post nougat update you can install all apps on device.
I haven't seen any big issues post nougat in my usage.
Wifi, browsing, youtube streaming, mic/headphone audio all great. No signicant lagging in my usage and ocassional heatin during fast charging is seen which is normal .
I dont know gaming/camera stuf.

caleb, 16 Jul 2017I really want to have this phone esp it went down to a very... moreThis is a decent phone having no major issues in its price segment. It is a value for money as well. Bad comments may be due to its initial launch price compared to other models in the range,its camera which imho is OK/decent or due to nougat update which also i haven't seen any major issue post update.
One minor downside for me is Lenovo is not giving 64Gb internal storage for the price as only 32Gb is seen in both memory variants of 3GB,4GB RAM ones.

What are bugs in naugot rom ? And how to fix the bug?
