after update p70 and did a factory reset, it is running smooth. Every thing OK.speed improved ,I mean the number of " kb/s" is increased at the same location. Now vedio streaming some fast. When using multiple apps or sites all are coming in a layer by double taping in cetre button. Really good feature. Shake lock I retained by installing the app " shake lock " from play store. Main quality of lenovo is they are extremely compatible for Google apps in play store. and all are successfully uploaded regularly, and GPS system is accurate and fast fixing. I tested with gmap, waze map, here map.I think if double tap option for screen on will come back,by next update, is good. I like this upgrade. Before updating charge battery full,avoid while charging, use wifi ,switch off sim card ,make sure WiFi modem will not cut off due to a power failure, make it cool ,

After this recent upgrade from lenova(P70) my wifi switches off when phone is locked/sleep.
I tried many options, but no luck. waiting for bug fix patch from lenova, but lenova team is sleeping even after many users facing complained about this in lenova portal.

i upgraded my lenovo P70 yesterday to lollipop and i lost all my contacts and now i cant even add contacts it keep on saying cam card is not responding,what should i do..please help me

Whoever complain for current update.
Try custom update, there is plenty out there which is good. Note : Lollipop v5.1 with double tap to wake exist.

After update to lollipop, then u MUST backup everything and do a factory reset once, redownload the apps or else it will be a lot of bugs like the camera not working, battery draining fast and speed lag. It's good as new and no problem but the special features will gone together with the vibe ui. If u prefer stock android 5.1 lollipop os then go ahead with with the update.

Remove Google account and add account, and go to settings> storage> cached data tap here to clear cache, switch off device for a little while and switch on.

I purchased my Lenovo p70 yesterday update to lollipop 5.1 and give construction that all future will erase included games and gesture I hesitate to update Kirkpatrick very good

I updated my p7o KitKat to 5.1 then my all functions is gone. Now my phone looks like a cheaper phone. Lenovo is responsible for this

Yesterday I updated from KitKat to 5.1 ,movie camera went worst, many features disappeared, nothing new,lenovo is fully responsible for this.

Before update the battery will drain from 15% to 0% inside 3mins. After updates, the battery still can lasted 2hrs with 15% remaining. Still waiting updates from lenovo to come out updates my camera not working prob. Hopefully lenovo not abandon this phone. P70 is the coolest i owned so far, powerful processor, big battery.

I prefer kikat. Lollipop is pretty good for battery life.

Please, anyone can say ,is there a menu option (three dot) on right top of the app "contact". or anywhere else in p70.

Can lenovo tell us why they don't launch the new vibe in lenovo p70 ? All lenovo phones which has been updated to lollipop get a new vibe but p70 does not get it
