I have been using this Piece of Mobile For 10 Days now, and I strictly think that here people write reviews just reading the specs and not actually Practically using the Phone.
This Phone is a Beauty, In Looks and a Beast in Performance.
Pros.
1) Battery Lasts for full 2 days on heavy use with Wifi , 3G configured and 4 apps Facebook, Twitter, Whats App Line continuously on and the option of battery usage set to high not even best or costumes..
2) The Brightness and the viewing angles are as good as my previous Note2 No Problems.
3) The dual sim support no switching between sims like the LG 686 to call.
4) SD Card Slot gives you the leaverage to expand as per need.
5) Graphics is good and as we have seen with the various regular games the run without a LAG.
Con.
1) Due to the High end Battery the Phone is a Bit Heavy.
2) Not many accessories available in the local market you have to order online to get them.

You wont get that power feel with lenovo, if u want to switch toandroid i suggest sony xperia C, or xperia SP,samsung galaxy grand,galaxy s3,htc desire 400, desire 500, these are pretty good phones!

i'm from malaysia. i've bought the 4gb ver. had been using it for 2 months now. a few things that made me dissappointed on this gorgeous phone is the connection strength for both wifi and 3g is weaker than my prev galaxy young and zte acqua.the locking satellite for gps may take forever to connect. overall the battery is excellent, sturdiness,ips screen been great. battery software is awesome.it'll be better if it has removeable battery coz i got this feeling about that i'll be used up the battery as i only 2-3 times turn off my data connection so far. there is no chance to do that on other ordinary phones.

I am used to Xperias, but also deal a lot with LG and Samsung and ok, they may have some faults or things that don't work as good as you expected but not like this, due to lack of care and precision during assembly.
Seems to me, from reading this an other posts that Lenovo as serious quality control issues.
If I may suggest, I think that for 300 usd you could afford a very decent medium to high end phone from Sony, Motorola, LG, Samsung or Nokia and be far better off

I've already using many phone including Sony Xperia Z ,
Htc Butterfly, SGS3... But for me after using this Lenovo P780, it's an Awesome phone.
-Very Good Battery (Mobile data always ON=2Days)
-Nice IPS view.
-Nice speaker, very loud and clear.
-2 sim standby , tested OK.
-Nice firmware :))
which is no lag after install any software.
Build-in all the needed software such as battery management, music, video viewer, AV and others.
-I no need to install the third party software such as Greenify and GL to SD.
-Watch Youtube and online but this phone never feel over heating at back panel.

Better check the battery to the service center and ask them if it still new cuz maybe in ur country,u can get a replacement of battery (actualy battery is removable but sealed to body just to make sure it's not changed by others) so maybe they can replace battery and put the Waranty sticker again.

Hello guys. I just bought p780 after returning my p770 which failed to impress me with battery performance. Plus the power button got unresponsive within 4 months.
P780 look great. Nice screen. Slim and pretty good camera. Sound output was fine. Earphone don't give much clear voice output.
Just into 48hrs of use, so not sure i can comment upon battery now.
But. There comes a glitch. I used CPU-Z and MOBILEUNCLE TOOL. both showing my battery 4000mah Li-ion!! It was supposed to be Li-Po
And the battery performance/ behavior seems similar to my old p770... HOW DOES IT HAPPEN!? I bought it through #flipkart. Sealed package. Everything seems genuine. But the battery?
There is no printed info on the battery about the type of battery. Its some serial numbers and some warning.
Any idea...?
