Search for Hangouts in Google Play and you are good to go.

Hi All,
My requirements from the Phone are : Good Battery life, Decently Sharp display, no lag/hangs, decent music quality and robust build... and email should work smoothly. Not in to too much of gaming however download too many applications
I bought this phone 3 days back and here is my experience with it so far... will keep posting more in subsequent days..
- Very Good Build Quality
- Though doesnt look stunning... but looks good for sure
- UI is very different and intuitive
- Well Battery... had disconnected it from charger ~30hrs back and its still more than 30% after being consistently on Wi Fi, Music, Calls and App downloads.... this is really wonderful.
- Music quality is also good.
- Display is sharp and refreshing... though not so great from side angles
- I am not able to get post call notification of balance etc on prepay number.. however installed USSD TO NOTIFICATION APP .. and restrated the phone.. it solves the purpose.
- Email is working perfect... 5-6 accounts at a time.
- So far no lags.
- Have struggled a bit on Google maps/GPS.. hopefully it will get smoother in future.
- Have faced minor issue of Wi Fi connectivity once... but not frequent.
- Internet browsing speed is also acceptable
- As the UI is differnt than most of the phone... you need to be a bit more patient to learn to handle it
- Appeared heavy on the first day.. however from 2nd day onwards.. i am habitual
All and all appears to be a really good Phone for Business professionals and is a practical phone....

shan, 12 Dec 2013Friends plz tell me lenovo p780 or GIONEE elife e6.PLEASEif you trust gionee then take elife e6. but it doesnt have dual sim and battery is less than p780. depends on your preference.

Okay, so i am using this Lenovo P780 phone for last 80 days and was waiting until now to post my hands on review. I bought this phone from Ebay at 16800/-. its a 4GB version and i am damn happy with this phone..there is no network issue that i have faced, very good Display, it does support OTG and transfer speed is very fast, WiFi direct support (you should install app "Software data cable" to best use of WiFi direct feature). Dual Sim only 1st Sim 3G..Very less internal memory (1.3 GB)to install Apps but you can move or install apps to External memory card however i think that has been increased in new 8 GB versions...Lenovo UI is one of the best UI i have used in any Android Phone and you can modify as you want..no need for me to say about battery, that is the best feature of this Phone..Phone does have option to Enable Push Message but it does not work so you wont receive data use or balance message after call.(one user suggested to use app "USSD to Notification" to resolve this issue and will do and post ). Display is good but its very reflecting in direct sun light so you will Die multiple times in subway surfer game if you play it on Open in day :b ...Sound quality is damn good on Speakers and also on earphones.. Looks and feel of this phone is better then any other phone available in market till the range of 28000....this phone easily worth of between 23000 to 25000...but in 17000 you are getting more then you can bargain for..Simply just go for it and you will not regret your decision..best of luck..Nitin

Its close to 4 weeks i bought this phone and i am happy with the phone.Battery is the best feature of this phone undoubtedly.I use less apps so didnt face any issue with lags.The only issue i am facing my phone is uable to read regional fonts (telugu,kannada,hindhi)in my facebook app ,instead of telugu/hindhi i can see only chineese.can some one provide a solution please or suggestions..

Hi,
I have Lenovo P780 mobile & I have deleted some files for clean the internal memory, now unfortunately google talk apps does not appear, or I am trying to install it from net, it does not install, can anybody help me how to activate google talk apps. while I have check all the settings related to gmail & google, but it still not install or work.

This is really nice phone, I have used 32GB micro Sd card with full game & application, nice this is that it consider 32GB external card as a internal memory & save all internet application in this memory, mean without disturbing internal 8GB memory(4GB for Android & not shared+4Gb for application, & it does not hang, 4 month after purchasing it is working nice good User Interface facility. 4000mAh battery is enough for one day all net Wi-Fi application, & 4 days for without net or stand by use. a best application is to connect USB as OTG. there is no issue. kezia, 10 Dec 2013pressing power + lower volume button at the same time doesn... morehad the same difficulties once, but after 4-5 times of trying, i'm sure you can do it. this phone can do the screen shot as any other 'afterdonut android devices.
