Thanks!! No issues if no info on call duration but I'm wondering why such a basic facility is not available. Hope we can atleast check the balance available by dialing the USSD codes, if not after every call, atleast once a day. Yes, as correctly opined, battery plays the most crutial role and that was one of the strong reasons why NOKIA has ruled with its basic JAVA phones.
Hope you enjoy the phone and do give me a feedback.

Guys I have been following this forum for this particular phone. As per the specifications, this seems to be the best Android Dual SIM 5 Incher smart phone. However, there have been equal number of +ve feedbacks that the same number of -ve as well. Many are complaining about some basic issues like not function of WhatsApp and Push SMS.
Please need a genuie feedback or suggest a good dual SIM Android with 5 inch screen and not definitely MMax, Lava, Xolo kind of Brands.
I had a hands-on trial at one of the E-Zone Stores in Mumbai and the phone seemed O.K. However, only after a prolonged usage,the Pros and Cons may be well known.
Was thinking about Grand and Xperia C, but the same same confusion. Please help.

I am having Spice Mi-350(a.k.a Lenovo A60) for last 2.5 yrs. It is working fine I have a lot of custom ROM (Russian/Philippines/Chines) it is still working good. Therefore, I am interested for this P-780. Beside ur opinion there is an option in the SMS Setting to activate PUSH SMS in Lenovo A-60. I think there should be this option in P780. What u say?

Ussd to notification software stores the push msge directly. Once you install restart the mobile to activate. Now no need to worry. We can check in it.

1. how long does it takes for the battery to charge from 0-100% ?
original 2A charger. exactly 3 hours. anything less than 2A will take longer. much longer.
2. does this phone handle .pdf files easily?
can use many program that handles pdf easily.
3. is there any light bleed on the screen?
yes if the whole screen is black. will not notice under normal use.
4. how about the signal perfomance of the phone? my place doesnt have good reception
reception may not be as good as old nokia. same as normal android. better than iphone

I have come across some sites regarding PUSH SMS & low voice call complain. This phone doesn't support push SMS(like call duration and its cost) even in 8GB 119 version also. So pl confirm those are bought this in INDIA.
