You care only for number of cores, don't you? Xperia L has dual core Krait CPU (almost similar to Cortex A15) whereas P780 has a quad core Cortex A7 CPU. Even when it comes to GPU, Adreno 305 is clocked at 533MHz in XL but PowerVR SGX544 is clocked at only 286MHz. I agree that P780 has a better display but the latest firmware update for XL made the display look nice. But Lenovo doesn't provide updates for its phones.

xperia L is bad small screen and dual core.

Having used the phone for 1 week, Still glued to the phone with its gr8 customisation by lenovo. Battery life is the best.

Only for battery backup its okay.... I suggest to go for Xperia L mobile. Cheap and best mobile with asthetic look and very good camera & processor from SONY.

I'm experiencing late response to touch/ lag in touch. Anyone else facing the same? That's the only thing i find bad in this phone.

Eugene, 11 Sep 2013The phone is great so far being for features, built, etc an... morei had experienced it too...the cloud liked stain appeared about 1/4 from the top of the screen...i had noticed that on the first day i bought it....quite a shock when i found u were experiencing it too..well yeah i think its a common problem as long as it doesnt give another big problem...so far..after 3 days using it..im very satisfy...

Positive+: i bought this on 10.9.13, previously I've used Samsung S3, compare that it's very well battery back up, display, camera and speed also same.
Negative-: power butten need any of one side of the phone, top side button some time getting off while bike travel, 4GB inetrnal enough bur need 8GB internal memory fr some other apps and need to update Android 4.3, notification LED inside the earpiece speaker, need to kept separetely.

For the price, only downside for me is the internal memory. The OS is already occupying most of it leaving the user with only 700 MB of space. Maybe at least 8 GB would be good. Nevertheless, I think phone is ok.

Samsung's dumb lifeless smartphones stands nowhere close to this robust and sexy model in comparative price models.
Wish it had a little more internal memory.
