liza, 06 Sep 2013Could someone tell me how to take screenshot for Lenovo P780press together these 2 buttons: "volume -" and "power off". "volume -" means to push the volume button in that direction which you normally decrease the volume.

Nokia takes almost a month even for minor repairs and I've heard from friends & relatives that samsung takes about two months for repairs like screen change etc.

Right now typing with my P780. I have galaxy grand and micromax Canvas hd also . First of all pros and cons compared to the two: 1. Looks is absolutely great. 2.camera is good with bright led flash. Picture is somewhat blurred when you zoom in. But overall is good. 3. This phone lasted almost 1.5 days with heavy usage. 4. There are some premium features like flip to mute and auto answer when phone is raised to your ear. 5. Crisp display, better then other two phones. 6. You will get a wow when you show it to your friends. 7. Customization from lenovo will be a bit of change for a Android user. Now time for some cons: 1. The back panel is slippery. It slipped from my hand 2 times in last two days. 2. Service centre is an issue as lenovo has outsourced is service to hcl and many have faced problems in the past. 3. Even after being a quad core it is laggy at times which can be attributed mainly to the heavy Customization by lenovo(eats up part of the ram) . 4.battery is non replaceable, I don't know what to do in case of a hanged mobile. 5.front camera quality is not that good. But overall I liked the phone very much it gives you a premium feel and I hope that I would never have to visit the service center. I would recommend to buy it @INR 16800.

Hey Guys, I bought this Lenovo P780 and I found it better than Samsung Grand I9082. Battery stays charge for a atleast 2 days. However, there is draw back that if I have to lock messaging using the app lock, Contacts+Messaging+Dialer gets locked by default and Gallery+Camera gets locked. Messaging and gallery cannot be locked individually. Any solution for this please?

4gb is quite a less memory for app lovers.even if you transfer apps from internal memory to sd card,still some part of the apps remains in internal memory.and already installed apps cannot be moved though.
out of 4gb internal memory only 739mb is accessible for apps.
I hope lenovo improves memory in next p series to 8 or 16 gb atleast.
4 gb is useless i must say.

I've been using this phone for the past two days. Everything seems to be fine including the awesome battery life except for one little problem.
I am a prepaid user currently on idea cellular network. the problem is, i am unable to get the service notification that are sent after the end of a call or net session regarding my balance deductions.
anyone else also having this problem? kindly provide me a solution .

I agree. I am desperate to buy this phone but the reviews are so extreme..its either great or totally worthless with people waiting for heir claims or replacements. Can some tech junkie please enlighten us with a complete review? Thanks

Battery performance is more than my expectation. 3G, WiFi, mails are open all day, what's up Skype and viber things are online all day, making calls quiet often. At the end of day %40,%45 still remaining. Phone is fast, its not bothering. I am so happy to get this phone. I recommend highly.
