Hello, I have been a Lenovo user for the last 3 years, but I'm suspecting that purchasing a Lenovo mobile was a bad decision I made. I never had an issue with my laptop though!
The phone developed an issue which could not be rectified and I was issued a DOA certificate. Lenovo is now refusing to replace the handset because the box in which it came is missing.
Please tell me what makes a paper-box so special ? I have a valid proof of purchase and a DOA certificate, is there any information about my handset that cant be obtained from the above mentioned documents. And, I dont want the paper box or accessories to be replaced, I just need replacement for my phone for which I paid my hard earned money and got to use it for hardly a month.
My interactions with the service center as well as the customer care have not been very useful. I wouldn't say your customer care really cares for the customer.
If you really are a brand "for those who do", better be people who "do" rather than invent stupid reasons to deny me this replacement.

Hi all i was using this phone for past 15 days ,now i am getting network issues.call drops,Even though it is showing full tower strength it says as out of coverage area,wasted 18k , it cant do what basic handset do , it is just a brick for 18k,wat is the use of battery wen u don get a call at all.Go for some branded samsung or nokia or something else

Not worth it...
Yes it support compass,
Battery not replacable,
Gps Signal breaks frequently,
Even we are out in the Road it still takes Hell lot of time to detect
It takes around 3.5 Hrs to charge.
**Most IMPORTANT thing is it losses network signal**

Like lenovo K860,After launching k900 they have removed k860 from its official site which was the first flagship phone of the company and have neither provided any updates for the same or any of their other phones.
Not worth buying.

These lenovo phones are not worth buying..After 3 or 4 months they develop some problem and moreover the After sales service is Pathetic..!! Better to go for trusted brands like Samsung.

i like to play high memory games, i like this phone but noticed it has low memory. Can you transfer memory to the SD card? will the memory improve when you have a SD card?

I have bought this phone last friday and am using for last one week. Here are my hands on reviews.
BATTERY :The battery is awesome. There is a schedule on/off option available. I set it to 1.00 AM to 7.00 AM. So the phone shuts down at 1.00 AM and wakes up at 7.00 AM. After setting this option, I last charged my mobile 72 hours ago and still 30% is left. All the time I am either on 3G or wifi. I heard music for about 3 hrs. I watched few videos from inrenal memory.Regular phone calls and SMS. So I would say that battery is not comparable to any phone in the market.
DISPLAY : display is hd, so no need to evxplain the clarity. Galaxy grand is not even nearby.
SPEED : I tried temple run 2, asphalt 7 and both ran without any lag. phone is running smoothly without even a single glitch.
MUSIC : Sound quality is very good. The headphone provided in the box are in ear and are of good quality.
VIDEO : Amazing video quality.
INTERNET : Internet speed is at par with Iphone 5 or galaxy S4.
MEMORY : Internal memory is not sufficient to install heavy games. For example I installed asphalt 7 and then there is no space left for real racing 3. For installing application it is big enough. I have installed around 70 application easily.
AFTER SALES SERVICE : I bought it just a week back so not aware of this aspect, but hope I should not visit service center.
ADD ONS : There are few premium apps available in the phone already installed.
CAMERA : Back camera is awesome. the pics are great even in low light. Front camera is a set back. The video quality while video chatting is not that great or I should say its bad. at this point samsung grand leads.
Overall its a professional phone. People looking for a phone to show off should not buy this. Looks are somewhat like blackberry Z10.

Bought this device one week ago. Experience so far is awesome, especially battery life. With medium usage on 2G it goes on for 4 days. Really awesome!!
Shortfall:Headset provided in the box is cool, but can't browse/switch FM radio channels. Tried with other brand headsets, same result.

How much free ram is available out of 1GB ram? Will normal games like Temple run 2 work smoothly?
