Guys new firmware was released that is P780_ROW_8G_S226_140919 (743 MB) please tell me who was already updated for this version and what was the changings after updated to new version and I was huge MB around 743 MB.....please reply me fast

is Lenovo P780 really dual band wifi or is gsmarena just mistaken with info here? if indeed its dual band, why cant I see the 5GHz wifi network from a wifi hotspot?

guys new update is available for p780 kitkat upgrade & it about 743 mb..ny 1 hv uodated it...wt exactly update about it..is it really fixing bugs...??

this is a fantastic phone... my concern with android phones was battery life. i don't use my phone heavily, and all my previous android phones (Galaxy S, Galaxy Note, HTC) lasted only 1 day. this lenovo is amazing... battery lasted 7days. On average my daily use of my phone is: 30min talktime, 1hour wifi on, maybe 20/30 min playing a game... for me this is great!
another very useful feature of the phone is the ability to connect an external hard drive via the otg cable supplied. usually when i travel i used to take a netbook with me so that i transfer the files on it. with the ability to attach an external hard drive, i can transfer my photos (i take them in raw format so they are about 25mb each) directly to my hard drive without the need of carrying a netbook!!!

Hi guys. I discovered a shortcut for flashlight to be enable. In stand by mode or lock screen just press the home button for 2 seconds and it will enable the flashlight. just hold on on the home button to continous light on and if you release it will light off. Its quite useful when you are finding something in the dark. I don't know if this is one of the feature of kitkat or it is already on the jelly bean.

I updated to 223 version before a week but still couldn't understand as what was the change made by Lenovo. I don't see any changes in the phone at all... why make us waste 210 mb of data!!!!

I bought this phone 3 months back. Fell down once and stopped working. Not getting Switch on. Wasted my money by taking this phone. Iam really disappointed with this mobile. DON'T TAKE LENOVO MOBILES.

jb4.2.2 S119, s123, s124 wifi and 3g is fast - after upgrade to KitKat4.4.2 S220 wifi and 3g very slow, bad camera - S221 wifi slow, 3g very slow, camera ok - s222 3g very slow - 223 wifi small improvement, 3g very slow, camera more ok

My version is P780_8G_ROWS124_140403,, is this the latest version? can anyone clarify me as I bought this in September 2014. Specification says no video call, but when you touch and hold on a contact in call log video call option is showing,,, i have postpaid 2G plan so it say 3G video calling is not available so it leads me to call to skype or to voice call... is 3g video calling is possible in the above version.....
