I have purchased 2 lenovo P780 1st in Oct 2013 2nd in Mar 2014. The 2nd phone is constant giving problems since July 2014,1)The network is always flucating (it is a hand set defect) 2)frequent reebooting.
problem with the first phone
1)cannot download any app even there is 10.00 mb space on the external storage complaint message showing when downloading a app (there is insufficient space on the device) 2)screen going blank and comes back to normal 3)frequent rebooting.
I wanted the service centre address so i tried their help line nos for 10 days but it was always not reachable. I triied Just Dial and got 2 address which were also wrong.There is no service center in South Mumbai, i cannot travel to suburbs .
I purchased Lenovo smart phone as i thought it is a reputed brand quality and service will not be an issue,but it is completly reverse.
I am stuck with 2 phones please help.

What is the problem with the latest update 23mb? My battery is so long to charge then my games dont launch why why!!! Please help what is the problem? Can i uninstall it?

With the latest update in the last week, my phone's battery life has reduced to less than half. Earlier it was running for 48 hours, and now not even for 20 hours.
How can I check which was the latest update (around 23 mb)? Is there anyway tu hat I can uninstall it? Or does anyone know if a new bug fix is coming for the same?

if want new look and smooth contact manager, you can download from www.legc.lenovo.com..it is a chainees language, but you can translate to English and you can download it..it is really awasom and new features..

Hey......friends I got the notification of kitkat update on my p780 it is named as p780_8g_row_s124_140403_To_p780i_row_s220_140722 should I download this update I hear that kitkat update on p780 doesn't work properly......I read reviews but I am still confused should I update this or not pls.....give me suggestion.....waiting for ur reply......n thnx in advance

hi
i m using this phone but when i going to update into kitkat version its become slow and even customer care also not doing same and they corrupt my IMIE no now my mobile is in service centre from last almost 15 days i dont know when they will give me back !!!!

i just receive s222 ,23mb update kitkat version work fine now ... than the first kitkat update .. battery work good ,for other p780 users switch to power saving mode ...

Yeah.. I am having the sam problem.. Video getting stuck after playing video while sound advances... Battery life became way too short..

updated new 23 mb update from lenovo for kitkat battery problem improved slightly but still needs more improvement also issues with connectivity still there sometimes network goes off & on otherwise display quality improved much better with kitkat. lenovo pls do work on network and battery all other factors are wonderful.

Updated to S222,23mb,contact Manager touch improved, bug fix stability improvement,
But my problem not solved, I have installed SwiftKey Keyboard every time I switch off and switch on Keyboard goes to ASOP inbuilt Keyboard again I have to change it default Keyboard to SwiftKey Keyboard it happens again and again when I restart of switch off and on please solve this problem Lenovo OS developer's, thanks if you solve this problem

Received S222 update and after that battery consumption is better but not as like JB. Camera clarity looks good after the update, Lenovo please work on Battery backup!!!
