I've been using it for a weeks and have to say the battery life is really great! It last between 3-4 days with moderate usage until I have to charge again!
For me it's just works even though it doesn't pact top notch hardware,
- the 5" size is just right,
- great build quality,
- large battery life -> no need to carry powerbank anymore,
- lastly it cost half of the highend phone since it's midrange phone and retailing around $250-300 (got mine 8gb one for $260 + 32gb microsd)
Initially i wanna get nexus5, but in my country it cost around $500 to get one >_>

I bought this phone from flipkart, 3 days back.
Delivery was prompt. Packing was good.
But when I switched on the phone for the 1st time, I noticed a small dead pixel almost at the centre of the screen. :-(
It was small enough to not to be bothered, and visible only when the screen is completely dark. But it was not expected from a reputable site as flipkart.
Since it didn't bother much, I didn't try to send it back and replace it.
Otherwise, the hands on experience on this phone has been quite good.
Smooth.
Big battery life.
Responsive screen.
And other features are best in this price range.
Another problem is about the cover and screen guard, they are not readily available even in Delhi, so again ordered them online .

I have been looking for a handphone
1) wide enough to show photos to customers about each product
2) last long enough for at least a week
3) fast & responsive enough running through all apps. Just love how fast it is even though I believe there are faster smartphones.
4) Quick burst photo taking
5) Feels steady and firm enough on the palm of my hand.
This is the best balance for guys. Not too light like plastic and not to heavy. The feel is awesome. You feel something solid for what you paid for
6) unbelievable how Lenovo has advanced so fast in a few years. Plenty of cuztomized apps they have done and tuned.
Guys, if you have medium budget. Get this handphone. Simply amazing.
No problem with WIFI, 3G or other networks
No problem with SD card or camera
Get a surrounded & protected rubber casing to minimized any dropping, bumps and scratches.
It looks rugged with light/dark blue.
Disadvantage.
This handphone is a bit of a weight for ladies. It is meant for bigger palms and people who likes holding solid matter.

- BEWARE!! Please check all function before you buy it
Lot devices have handicap from manufacture

P780 is best phone with ultimate battery. This suited best as first Android phone for my father who was very comfortable with Nokia due their high battery standby time.
***** rating for battery backup.
Symbi to Andi switchers should go for it without hesitation!
