it depend on apps also so just identify which app is reducing charging for example recently i faced a problem i got new updated for "cleanmaster" app i updated to new version after that my batter is discharge fastly without using my phone in night in the morning i saw 50% battery discharged.
Than i uninstalled the cleanmaster new version and istalled old version and my phone working fine now. because in new version they developed antivirus engine it discharge my standby time is gone.
just reset your phones then check you mobiles working fine or not.

Hi, this is the second time I ask, when r u going to update to kit Kat or at least 4.3. Don't u know all lenovo users, lenovo never update their OS, just wonder y. Kit Kat is verybl light on RAM and most of lenovo phones can handle it.

I am using this mobile for past few months and it... moreHi Phiani, i also faced similar pblm ... but after changing my APN settings to vodafone connect from vodafone live, the pblm got solved.
So you need to change your APN settings for this issue. :)

P780 Battery is an exceptional smartphones, highly recommended for gamers or travellers and also his usbotg is very useful for storage or connecting to usb flash drive and dslr camera.
Now I can watch my favourite videos that stored on my flash drive without need to store it in microsd.
I've been using this P780 for 6 months and there is no problem so far.

This Lenovo P780 8GB is good but now its showing problems ( friends beware i already waste 35000/- , purchasing two phones )
1- Initially battery life was good and lasting for 4 days with single charge but gradually it reduce to 3 days and now hardly one day... All dear mobile lovers please buy branded phone. don't buy lenovo. Go for sony xperia SP or samsung grand neo.
2- warranty does not cover battery (only 6 month) but real problem starts after 6 month and you will waste Rs.17000+ in this lenovo.
3- product is already register to website on this manufacture day, eg: if you purchase mobile in March-2014 and product is manufactured in September-2013 then your warranty is eligible for September-2014. ( means you will get only warranty March-2014 to September-2014 i.e.7months)

And specially for camera .....
Last three days I was in marriage party.
So at night I have capture photo n videos both with great quality.
Not like sony bot better than Samsung n others

I enjoy this phone without any problem with one and half days battery.
Awesome phone.
Only I can't see balance after cut my calling phone.
After all I feel good happy with my new and first android phone with whole day likes watssapp uc fb full on net n still
I can see there is 32% bettry remaining.
