The best thing from this phone is: battery life, supported by excellent battery optimizer app. The second best is the display: 299 ppi.
Minus side: I could not replace default messaging app, which blocks many sms filter apps from running well. This should be easy to fix if you are willing to root your device, but I'd prefer to stick with stock launcher so I am waiting for Lenovo to 'fix' this.

i... moreJust go to System Setting > Language & Input > By default, the Android keyboard was ticked, then clicked the gear icon beside it. Then u will see the Vibrate on Keypress was ticked, just unchecked it.

Battery life.....is min 2 days...........in full Usage mode...

When i start Hotspot in P780 and connect my laptop or any other mobile it connects. i.e. on laptop or other mobile i can read that Lenovo P780 is connected. then i start Data Connection on P780, it start correctly but i can not open internet on my PC. can anybody help me what other settings has to do.

Hi, Plz help me..actually i bought this phn and its amazing.monster bttery i must say. But I cudnt use my internet on roaming. As in other phones there are option of activate data card on roaming..bt here i cudnt find. plz help

I used this phone for a couple of weeks.. And I'm really impressed..
Pros:
#really good HD display even when I set it to its lowest brightness, its still readable.
#the battery can last for 2 days of average use.. And 1/2 day for heavy use.
#average UI.. Its very snappy.. ^^
#gaming is very good..
#internet browsing is good and fast depending on your connection..
#usb on the go feature is very usable..
#The rear camera is very good.. Even in low light..
#the 1gb of RAM is very good.. But it can be 2 or 1.5gb..
#the big screen just fits my hand and very good for typing..
Cons:
#the front camera is not that good but still acceptable for video calls..
#i experience a bit lag when playing heavy games...

If you couldn't find this option, maybe you have to update your facebook app.

the Lenovo P780 is a very good phone , i bought it yesterday, The touch and battery is excellent. I have used Samsung Galaxy S3 and Samsung Galaxy Note2, But price wise it is very good value for money. Only one minor issue is the Mic of the phone is not that sensitive . So if anyone can suggest how to cope with that would be very helpful

Hello, I just bought a Lenovo P780 and it is a pretty fantastic phone to use. I'm facing a little difficulty in where I can't save images from Facebook to my gallery. I'll be happy if anyone could solve this minor problem. Cheers :)
