Ive been using this phone for 2 years, & here are some opinions I have about it.
* 12mp rear camera loses its details in low light, but very good performance in capturing panoramas or closeups. 2mp front is mediocre.
* I browse a lot using Chrome & Youtube, & I notice my phone starts to heat up after about 2 hours. That was a year ago. Now, even when Im only listening to my music, the phone heats up pretty easily.
* The battery doesnt last that long, I had to charge it once a day. But a 2000mah battery for this price range is quite okay.
* Has minimal lags, but it only happens when I open multiple tabs (about 10-12 tabs) on Chrome.
Those were my experiences in these 2 years. Im sure other people have different opinions. Overall, of course it doesnt perform flawlessly, but for its price, I think its really worth buying. Have a good day! :)

I have been three years with this phone and nothing is problem with this phone on my observations..i think this is the best choice and then best phone : )

mamataykana, 30 Jul 2015I have this phone and got 4.4.2 kitkat its is now available... moreNahh dude sorry this phone, the manufacturers hasn't yet decide to release 4.4.3 or 4.4.4
but in my case, I have a lenovo s820 row latest firmware s820_s223_150119 installed
the rom is fast, smooth no lags at all and battery life has improved a lots !!
Yo the good news is that you can install CUSTOM ROMS and I did and my phone became 4.4.4 :) :)
I've searched in needrom.com and has installed the pure xperia z3 kitkat 4.4.4 . works like a charm better than the official update s820_s223_150119 :P

revlly, 16 Sep 2015my Lenovo s82- not working well after I update to vibeUI...... morethis is because you flashed international to a china firmware; and thus it don't have gapps included. So for the vibe 2.0 that you mentioned, it can be fixed only when you root and install the gapps.
Disadvantage of this ROM:
Not have google applications include on the ROM, must be installed your self
It only have 2 languages, English and China language
Contains many china applications that does not working outside china country.
Only can be install from china firmware only, using sd card method.

I bought this mobile on April 2014. Mobile is not working now, hangs very often during these 2 years.
Not at all satisfied with the phone.

I have this phone for two years and I'm really satisfied.... Phone is great....I using custom room miui v7 and hi is so smoth...hi has fantastic display,verry good camera and solid gpu...I played all new high end graphic games and he running smoth....but you must have rooted phone and all yours problem are done....S820 is great choice...;)
