I find I can't answer the Lenovo S856 the phone when it ring,it must have some sort of lock on the screen. The instructions are not detailed that come with the phone.anyone had the same problem????

After following guide in xda which is finding other ROM obviously not the Chinese one,then rooted,with powerful apps like greenify,the phone actually quite amazing!i got nearly 5hours SoT and it can handle games pretty decent.no overheating .no apps crash .. just headover xda and follow the guide ..Cheers!

Get this phone from lazada malaysia. Only RM 313 after voucher rebate. (including postage). Nice phone with that price.. what u expected..! 1st of all... install KingrRoot. Removed all bundle software (especially DU) and all bloatware and some of manufacture software. Walla !!. Now this phone running smooth & battery phone now saving moreee . So far i have use this phone...ok! no problem. But as i said earlier... install KingRoot. Do the housekeeping... !

Mati, 11 Feb 2016When I have got a call from other person the phone answered... moreI really wanna know how to remove the auto answering. I tried installing application for auto answering but its no use. It's a bit irritating not finding the solution in call settings option. If anybody could help pls do. I badly need it. Thank you.

A great phone destroyed by it's software! The Lenovo "oh look aren't we clever" modified android is APPalling (do you see what I did there). It crashes app's at random times for seemingly no reason, sometimes the keyboard refuses to show up, there is a security app pre installed that constantly notifies you of EVERYTHING and is impossible to get rid of, even turning of notifications only works for a while then it pops back up like a bad rash.
The phone looks great, feels great and the battery life is great but I wouldn't recommend it because the Android installations is BROKEN! AVOID THIS PHONE. Find something that hasn't had it's ROM made by an 8 year old.

When I have got a call from other person the phone answered automatically after once ringing with out my order (permission). so how can I solve the problem. please give a solution.

Worst experience ever..i don't know whether its the kitkat or the phone.. but the notification center doesn't work properly, other app notification doesn't show up unless you open the app manually, there are tons of useless app like security, clean master, du clean something, du betery something, and the worst app is update center..which has zero update since forever. installing app and playing them, i constantly pray to god. " oh lord, please don't let this game crash, im in the middle of attacking" but..you know what happens? the game crashed i just bought it 3 days ago and i have factory reset 10x already.. no kidding, keyboard doesnt show up..and there are nameless useless app hogging the ram..like whhat the f.. If god give me power to reverse time once, i'll definitely reverse to the day i bought this phone and tell my self not to buy it..cheaper phone than this has better quality. now i know no one fron the lenovo company is going to read this and even if they do they won;t care and still do nothing to avoid this problem.. ever since i bought this phone a lump in my chest appeared.. i want to cry so bad..

I want to mirror cast from my lenovo s856 to my LG TV but whenn I download Miracast it's not picking up my TV! Any ideas?

Received the phone a week ago. Looks good, the performance is good and the battery life is good as well. However, the software is a disaster: apps randomly close, the phone dialer can't identify incoming numbers if they are saved with country prefixes, icons can't be hidden from the screen (you need to disable or uninstall the app for that), preinstalled apps are awful, there is leftover chinese text in some places etc. Plus, the servers for updates & themes are extremely slow (50-70Kbps WHEN they work). Overall, a negative experience.
