Pretty great, cheap tablet. Decent build quality, great screen, sound's not bad either. Perfect for casual users doing casual stuff - internet browsing, emails, YouTube, etc.

I have it and its Great! 3G version 1/16Gb but i will change it coz doesnt work on it a program that I work with! needs better that 1024*600. 99euros was not much for it!

In 24 hours of idle time and 4G connection left ON -- the battery will drain according to how many apps are running in the background. So considering that the background (recents tray) is clear then it approx drains about 30% in a day. Again it depends on several features like how good the Sim network is, if Wifi is On or Off, if Bluetooth is On or Off

Yes you can make calls and send SMS also, however if in India and using Jio you must download the Jio Voice app to do so .. else with other Sim cards its seamless

Fantastic tab !.best of the best.battery life is very good.u can play any game.apps load fast.I am very happy from this tab.I buy this 2 days ago 3G model.

May I ask, how much the battery drains for an 24h idle period?
How could you manage to make hands free phone calls, is the tablet connected to your phone ? Would you please decribe it briefly.

I bought my Lenovo tab3 710X in June 2017 hoping to keep it as a good buddy. I'm using Lenovo S1 and I have also used S1 light they both are very responsive. But I find that this buddy is not as fast as my other Lenovo mobiles. So I am pretty much disheartened. If anyone have any suggestions on what to do to decrease it's response time if it is at all possible. My other query is what does root means.

Get what you want for 2017... moreWe're just getting one for travel/backpacking, the screen is rock solid (unlike the prettier Galaxy tab3), I anticipate that my teenage son will use it to take keepsake pictures, post his travels on FB, piggyback on wifi and maybe upload language translation dictionaries, if it gets lost or munted, it's $129 NZ - 1/10th of the price of a bells & whistles one

There is one that roots, probably from 2015 when tab was first attempted. The newer & latest Root apks are trying to root Marshmallow & some Nougat - totally different exploits.

If tablet or some apps act-up, switch off, then use power & volume up together for over 10 secs. Recovery screen with options, perform 'full test'. Press power key to restart or options to reboot.
Mine switched on with bluetooth functionality back, boot jingle, mtklogger app logging (can switch it off, and clear the logs in storage).

My lenovo tab 3 essential starts hanging. The screen doesn't respond . It's keyboard doesn't work properly. But after sometime it gets cured itself but after sometime again it starts to hang. What should I do
