cons
after the update you get around 500mb ram out of which 400-425 is useable and also you lost multi-user support by the way internal storage becomes half and apps take more storage due to ART..
pros
you'll get full SD card access
it becomes more stock as Lenovo doesn't change much ...
I know only this much, nobody is going to tell about the update neither here nor on Lenovo forums....

I bought it yesterday. Outstanding value for money. Only some questions for people that updated and tested it with Lollipop (android 5.0).
- Are there any problems with wifi connectivity and sound - lower volume etc ? (please check it before answering)
- Is battery life better or worse after the update?
- What are the pros and cons of updating ?

In terms of performance and battery life is the same. Best design. I can not arrange the main menu icons . Some programs have disappeared . The old drop-down menu best . Some videos were not smoothly subjected to the old system but was now good. In general I think that the new system better .

I can confirm that you can choose the write location. Actually when I inserted my microSD card, the system asked me if I wanted to change the default location. ;)
One more thing. The UI has changed a LOT. Now it looks a lot more like Android than previously.

Gaming performance is also great.Asphalt 8 is running fine on max settings.Modern combat 4 and 5 are running lagfree too.Minecraft PE is also running fine.With the lollipop update it will be officially the best cheap tablet ever.
