Potential Customer please "Don't buy this pruduct" and I will state the reasons why.
I just buy this and this is the most infuriating tablet that I get in my life. First of all, Why is the version of this tablet is 7(Nougat) ? This Tab has only 1gb ram and the OS takes 95% of it! Many background application are always not responding or stopped working even when I don't even open them like youtube, google play, even the system constantly not working. I hate this tab, waste of money and please don't fool the customer that this is a good product, just because it has a higher android version doesn't mean that it is better than others.
Also, can you please make sure that the developer know what they are doing, This is like installing windows 10 in a potato PC, just the system alone can break your PC down. Please fix this immediately, its hard to install firmware and change the version of this tab since all of it can be found on shady sites, and most of the people who buy your product are not Operating system expert that can do all those complicated things.
Think more of your customer not how you can make money out of them.
It is a shame since I look up to Lenovo products in such a high regard then just fool us like this.

This tab is indeed slow.I play Minecraft and Geometry Dash on this tab.Performance is indeed slow but what you pay is what you get.🙂

this tab is basically just to use for youtube and small gaming.thats it..since its nly having a quad and 1Gb ram..when i got this i disabled all unused apps+auto update off..animations to zero from developer options..and all tat google play protect and all off ..+google device admin all i offd..just using youtube..torrents..movies apps..coc and vice city for android..its working awsome..since i disabled everything..if you dnt want to do all these ..should buy a powerfull one..its like buying a reputated sedan for a cheap price and expecting to fill it wid 8 people..its good for normal stuffs..👌

This tablet is a terrible disappointment. It's performance is pathetic. My previous tablet was a Nexus 2013. This 5 year old tablet was, by a significant margin, better than this "new" tablet. Sorry, Lenovo, to call this tablet "essential" is really a joke.

Bought this April 2018, worst performance, cant process multi tasking. Hangs all the time. Unresponsive touch screen. Sent it to the service center, they replaced the main board. same results. Dont buy this unit. it will be your worst mistake.

I was looking for something to fill in a gap between smart-phone and 10 inch tablet, I bought this 7 inch tablet but I've quickly realised that this is just a big 7 inch smart-phone, not a multimedia device, because it has only one speaker on the top which means, if you want to watch movies, then you keep it in horizontal position and the speaker is on the one side then. This is quite annoying experience to watch movies when sound comes from one side only. It's not only this 7 inch tablet, but many other manufacturers are using similar design. I'm just wondering who proves this? I've quickly returned it and stays with my other 10 inch tablet with 2 speakers (one on each side).
