My TB-8505F has a full size SIM slot. How can I tell if it actually has a GSM/LTE modem?
This tablet is not terrible if you can get it for $50 or so. It's better than a Kindle for reading Kindle books. Chrome and Edge are pretty slow. AFAICT can't be updated past Android 10. Don't expect miracles at this price point.

It's a pretty decent tablet for daily use. But I am not an average phone user I am a bit of a gamer and this tablet is horrible at performance, it get's out preformed from my Sony Xa1 heck even if the Sony Xa1 is older it's much better doing daily task and light gaming, so if your a basic user I would recommend it to u (I got it for only 5k) but please don't buy this for gaming purposes it's very horrible.

Most worst device till now. Amazon and Lenovo both fuck!!!! Fuck!!! and Fuck your money. They will fuck until you drained. Most worst device available. Need to stop it until Amazon fuck it. Don't let your money waste. Total worst product!!!!!!!!!!. Never buy it. In Lenovo M8 everything is fucked. Don't buy it from Amazon. Don't buy it from Lenovo.

If you find it for very cheap and only wanna watch YouTube or so it's okay. Experience is not particularly good, but hey, this usually around 100 USD, you get what you pay for.

Rodgers Mwambeni , 28 Apr 2023Make it possible that is should be compatible for some apps. Not possible - vendor is no longer interested in old models. You need to root & flash custom rom on your own risk.

I have this tablet and it’s crap. It lags on anything. I’m talking scrolling through facebook list of friends kind of lag. Lenovo released an upgraded version with 3 GB and another SOC MT8768T Helio P22T. Maybe that’s usable, but stay away from this one (2019) You’ll cry and beg that it responds to your touches.

The problem is that the WIFI protocol on the servers you are trying to connect to are not compatible with the Lenovo tablet! It's frustrating but Lenovo decided to use an older protocol standard and has never issued a security upgrade! Lenovo makes decent hardware but their software policy regarding upgrades is lacking! (If you are trying to connect, make sure the wifi router can broadcast the WPA Protocol)
