I just ordered the galaxy tab a 8.0,
Because I dislike two things about the Lenovo m8:
#1. The speakers, though not the worst, are really bad imo. Not even sure if this tablet can pair with my anker soundcore 2 properly, because at first glance it's giving some problems.
#2. The UI is really bad. I guess its between Google original UI and just boring nothingness. I personally prefer Samsung or Huawei UI.
According to a lot of research,
The Samsung TFT screen is probably going to be mildly better or mildly worse than the Lenovo IPS screen.
Could it be that IPS is not always better? I will soon find out :-)

Just ordered 2gb variant cause the 3gb 800p variant was out of stock. (or doesnt even exist?)
800p @ 8inch screen should be fine.
What's more:
the 800p version has great contrast ratio,
very good black levels
and NO pwm flickering. (important if you dont want eyestrain.)
For this reason never buy amoled, these have the worst pwm flickering.
Not sure if the same can be said about the fullhd lcd panel in the M8 FHD;
because i couldn't find the information anywhere.
