Ordered the 128/wifi version for EUR 560 with cyber monday discount.
I was hestitating between Mi Pad 5 and S7 FE but both had drawbacks.
Pad 5 was €60 cheaper, but 11in screen, not OLED, the front cam was on the small side (i don't like it for video calls), and pen was not included...
S7 FE was LCD, 60hz, no fingerprint sensor, and €40 more expensive.
I stumbled upon this P12 PRO, and it perfectly meets the requirements.
Looking forward to testing it... and to be able to buy the keyboard cover ;)

Anonymous, 29 Nov 2021Phones are already nearly 7 inches. What would be the point... more7 inch screen phone vs 12.6 inch screen tablet is a big difference. A 6.6 inch phone screen is almost 3 times compared to 11.5 inch tablet.

S7 had SD865 and its a very good processor even up until now (last year flagship)
888 is better but overheating issues is insane my friend

Looks interesting, but will likely take ½ year before we see it at strong offerings like with the P11 Pro 2021.
Is it me that cant find the Lenovo P11 Pro 2021 on GSMarena.. they have all the other lesser versions but cant find the strong version with SD870.
Some confusion about that model and if it has Wifi6.. many spec sites list that particularly SD870 SoC model with WIFI6 ax.. while the other older P11 variants doesn't.. see kimovil spec listing on all these models.
That Lenovo P11 (Xiaoxin 2021 SD870) model.. got a very impressive weight to body ratio on a strong 11.5" tablet and only 5.8mm.

the smaller Xiaomi Tab Pro that is 11" is even heavier at 515g and that one is even plastic back housed as I recall but also thicker at 6.9mm?
One thing I really think is a huge plus on these Lenovo P11 series is the PC feature and video-out
I like it a lot on my S5e LTE with this DeX and you can adjust appwindows to your heart's desire.
And also dig that cover for the P11, which seems to have a detachable kickstand with a touchpad.. I do have the org Samsung magnetic Keyboard for my Tab S5e LTE but it's one of those without any touchpad just a grove you place it in and only keys. on the keyboard..
Checked the brightness on my S5e with flooding the light sensor. and it peaked just under 750nits.. with just using the slider it peaks around 600nits,

This tablet seems interesting, but I'm a bit worried about the possibility of image retention and permanent burn in. The p11 pro had issues when it came to image retention. Either way, interesting tablet

Working on software updates and I've seen some people complain about the screen on the p11 pro 2021 part has gone dead after having it for some months. I hope they sort out their issues otherwise Samsung and xiaomi is more reliable. Their pricing had been on point and I'd really like Lenovo to teach Samsung a lesson with their overpriced tablets.
