I cant connect television ... moreIf your TV supports Miracast you can directly cast your Tab's screen from the Settings->Display->Cast screen.
If it doesn't then you need to buy a Chromecast. With Chromecast attached to your TV you can mirror your Tab's screen.

This s8 is not with,,,
AMOLED or TRILUMINOS of display
BOOM or dts of sound
Cyanogen or ios of os
yoga or edge of design
6k or 5k of battery of 5"phones
SAMSUNG or LG of after sale service,,,
Etc. Or Etc. Of Etc.
It's just a LENOVO.
And FLIPKART is not a
Alibaba or Ebay
So it's got no scene to cross the price then 14k, so LENOVO and FLIPKART, two new partners stop this looting

Frndz,,, don't misunderstand me,,, what's the point in buy it and come here and cry for it cons,,, this is not rehab,,, xda is there for solutions., we have to stop this Flipkart tacticts,,, how dare they are to increase the price of it and offering freebie for 1500rs/- more which is originally a cheap product of 500rs/- worth,,,, they r looting,,,, don't fall for it

While lenovo stores r there all over India then why making Flipkart as another Alababa,,,, without 6k battery no one buy it no more,,,, initial craze is end so start respecting Indian market before they turn to MMX"ians

They r repeating same mistake of S930 which is cool like s8,,,but they r foolishly not concentrating in these models like improving much more and make it available at local shops,,,,ALL REMAING LENOVO products are waste they r not going to survive with them so realise before people loose interest and turn to MMX YUREKHA and Xiaomi note 4g and ONE PLUS ONE or etc.

Guys!!!! Can u imagine if 4G is enabled then battery immediately fall to ICU in 30min.
So lenovo stop this nonsense and come up with 6k battery minimum and make it available in local stores. Few days back they cried for online shoppers, even advertised that all online sites are not official resellers with pamphlets BUT bow down to only Flipkart and restricted the price fall down. It is 14k in Russian websites then what the hell with Indians who r more actively buying it here in India.
It's kinda BLACKMAILING!!!!!!

Tip:
I don't know whether many have noticed or not but hardware decoding of videos produces unpleasant results.
When I am using MX Player and H/W Decoder for video playback, the video becomes whitish i.e. low contrast, washed out colours and grayish blacks. But when I am using S/W Decoder the video becomes livelier i.e. much better contrast, saturated colours and deep blacks.
Even if the video playback is supported natively (using H/W decoding) I would suggest you to still force it to use S/W decoding. I have made the setting in MX Player such that it always uses S/W Decoder. This phenomenon can be seen on the inbuilt video player also, which uses only H/W decoding. The downside is that S/W Decoding is a more expensive process, you will consume more battery with respect to H/W Decoding.
In short if you want higher quality video playback use the S/W Decoder! :)

I have bought this tablet for my son. I was looking for battery reviews as the battery seems dreadful. Now I can see I am not the only one with problems.
If you put a case on the tablet it says it is overheating - so son has to play without a case. Not good for clumsy kids!
Also he plays minecraft and clash of the clans on it - battery lasts an hour and half tops!
Very disappointed with this.

The main problem is not from brands and models,,,, it's from people who are looseing brains and buying foolishly like kids without any patience and thinking,,,, etc.
Why this particular model is not available at local lenovo stores?
They r restricting the price drop by selling it at only place like Flipkart,,,
If we stop buying it from there then it's available at places and the price too drops 1000rs. Per month and settle at 13k to 14k which is idle price for this model.
So stop buying it and wait,,,, meanwhile they come up with more battery.

Bought for my son for Xmas, battery life terrible- even when using an app killer to make sure no necessary apps/processes are running. Frequently come to wake it up to find it's dead !
