It is a very good product in this range. I have used both google nexus 7 and lenovo s8 tablet. Everything is going smoothly in lenovo s8.

Worst battery performance. Battery drains in 3 to 4 hours in normal usage on low brightness. Screen sucks up 75% of the battery. It takes more than 3 hours to charge it fully. Not a mobile tab. Please don't buy this unless you always wall-plug it. Very disappointing.

i finally save my money to buy a tablet and as a mater of fact i like this tablet, but i want some help from one's who has this tablet.
could you plz tell advantages and disadvantages of this tabblet. is it really worth to buy? how is its battery life with general usage and net surfing?

Guys in winter the heat wasn't an issue but its now becoming apparent. It heats up even during lite tasks like browsing. I advice all the buyers to not use a case while gaming. After playing Asphalt 8 for 40 minutes the heat increased so much that it could be felt on the screen! I use onscreen controls, the heat makes it uncomfortable. Let the heat dissipate, take breaks every 40 mins while gaming. The heat shielding of the screen is poor, the Tab has poor thermals and cannot distribute heat well.
The good thing is that there is no throttling when the battery goes down or when the Tab heats up, so the framerates remain constant.
Those grey dots or that pattern you see on the screen are actually touch digitizers. They should be transparent but in INFINITY cheap screen they are not and remain an unpretty sight. Also the INFINITY screen sucks battery like INFINITY!
Lenovo you should provide INFINITE BATTERY for your INFINITY SCREEN!
They intentionally cripple software functionality (Yoga has more features despite same hardware). They don't even reply or fix issues. They already have our money, why would they bother?
I thought Lenovo was better but I now realise that they are just like any other cheap chinese brand! I will never buy anything from them here onwards.

Superb configured tab if it works flawlessly then it will be hit and I hope they come up with 6k battery and rectify all the problems,,, they are not responding to them even at lenovo forums too,,,
It's not available at stores and only at flipkart means what? They r testing it on people who can't wait and who don't care much,,, so like this they test and try to rectify the problems and if they solve it then they launch in stores,,,
Few months back I tried to buy S930 which is still not available in stores.
So whatz going on LENOVO?
STOP BUYING IT UNTIL,,,,
1.IT'S UPGRADED TO 6K BATTERY
2.IF THEY RESPOND AND RECTIFY THE PROBLEMS SO FAR
3.IF PRICE DOWN TO AND UNDER 13K
but as usual they don't care and launch few more new waste models instead of improving this model just like S930.

I am very disappointment with this tab. When playing clash of clan, my battery literally drain 1% per min--giving me roughly 100 min playing time. More frustratingly, having it plugged in doesn't help because it complains not enough current and still drains the battery. Argh! Lenovo!

Even the Smartwatches have better battery life then this Tab!! Lenovo what were you thinking? 3 hrs battery life! Can't even use this tablet without it being connected to the charger!!

I just bought a lenovo S8-50. This is superb but battery life is a great set back. It only runs 3-4 hours at normal usage. I am really upset using it's calling function. If I call someone he is not able to listen to me where I can listen to him perfectly. I have already checked all settings but it doesn't work. Can anybody help me please.

I just bought s8-50 last week from flipkart. My views are;
It's a good tab with a short battery life, say 3-4 hours with normal usage.
I am facing a problem,if i call someone he is not able to listen to me where as I can listen to him perfectly.
I have already checked all settings but not able to rectify / set this problem. Can anybody help me please.

Compairing to my last tablet ( lg g pad 8.3 ) battery is really worst ! I really disappointed .
And WiFi problem after update is stable . I saw this problem on other customer and lenovo doesn't answer any things about this bugs !
